Yes people should give God praise, but praise comes in many form. I personally never like the pumping or pushing people to give God praise. If you gonna praise God, praise him for yourself. Some people's week may have been all right. Maybe certain people didnt go through hell that particular week. They can praise God for that.

I feel like even if you don’t dance, you can still stand and clap your hands. I’ve seen people come and sit comfortably while the praise is going forth. It doesn’t have to be a deep reason to praise God! Just simple fact that you are in your right mind, activity of your limbs, you woke up!! If you put forth the effort into going to church, the least you can do is give God some praise.
