Thank you so much for being such a TERRIFIC TEACHER! For the last few days, I was focused on learning how to make an A2 card box for. my greeting cards, but with no success. I viewed video after video, feeling more frustrated with each one. Even the videos with written instructions gave me a head-ache until early this morning. At about 3:00 AM, I came across your video, and everything just CLICKED!!! Somehow, your directions and demonstration made everything come together for me. I tried to make a box along with you, and I experienced immediate success! Thank you for helping me to create a gift for the people I care about.

Yes Please! A craft hack video would be great. I always think I need the latest of gadgets, etc but am challenging myself to use what I have and to not purchase anything for crafting the rest of this year. I am even going to try and make it thru Christmas and not purchase anything. Except gifts but am considering making most of those as well.

Love your tutorials! Yes, the craft hacks would be great as I work mostly with 1999 supplies. (That is not the brand it is the year! Lol) I've also just joined Hide His Word in my HeART...such a great need and super idea. Lastly, I praise God for your healing! So happy for you. 👵

Mayday, I have the crafting companion but it looks easier to make it your way. After spending the money on all the gadgets I feel guilty not using them, but sometimes I love just doing it the way I learn to craft many years ago.

This was great, thanks! So a year and a half after you post this video, ha ... I have been toying with a way to join the corners of the acetate lid and think I'm onto something - haven't quite figured out the positioning. Anyway, the idea is to use a latch mechanism like the gift box punch board. That joins the corners, but very loosely. However, it could work as an alternative to the unconnected version. I think I could cut the whale smile as a template and figure out how to place the second slit. The problem with using the punch board as-is is that the corners are at right angles to each other, not diagonal. Food for thought. If I figure out the magic formula I will post and let you know. I am not a fan of the adhesive showing through the acetate, either, and was trying to come up with a non-adhered option. Thanks again. Love your tutorials. Kay

This is a great idea. I wonder if this could all be done with the cricut? Do you have the measurements written down anywhere?

I love this idea for giving as a gift. Just a question on the acetate box lid, couldn't you just cut out the corners all together, when I have bought christmas cards in a box like this, the corners are just slit and fit down inside the box in the same way. Just a thought. Keep up the videos, I love watching them all.

Where are the measurements for the acetate box? At about 10 minutes and some seconds in, you said the measurements for the base were the same so I cut the base and noticed that you’re cutting a different base measurement for the acetate box.i wish the measurements were given each time so I don’t have to go back and forth on the video only to get it wrong. 🙃 Thanks for the video though.
