Great video A2D, this is not a scam. This is how all OEMs operate in developing countries. In Europe you get min 2 years warranty and only very few OnePlus users in Europe faced this issue. If in case of a lawsuit, only users in USA, Canada, Europe and Australia have been provided with refunds. India has always been considered as a cheap market and they do not sell the 1st quality in India.

I had a POCO X3 pro, exactly at the last month of the warranty, It just died. I was charging it and after 15 mins I noticed that the phone was off. Tried switching it on but it didn't. Seached youtube for a solution and came across many videos stating this as a "POCO scam". In those videos, people were facing same issues and the service centers didn't replace it even within the warranty period. It's said that they refused to take it under warranty because of minor scratches and paint wears. It was the last 12 days of my warranty period and luckily the service center{Chennai} provided a replacement. They told me that motherboard was dead and it might be due to overheating. But the new replacement phone didn't have a warranty. So, I sold the new replacement phone and bought an iphone later. Some of my friends had POCO during that time and they all had similar or atleast some major problems in their phone. They all were complaining just like me. This the only Tamil KZfaqr who talked about this. Atleast I only came across this one. But still, it's actually great that he's talking about it..! Would lilke to know "How many of you guys faced the same problem with POCO..???"

My brother did got green line on OnePlus 9r before few days which is more than 1yr old and he escalated the problem from customer care because the customer care said they can't replace because of shortage of supply, all they can do is give some coupon of 19k and asked him to buy new model. He requested to connect the call to senior customer care and seems like they have lifetime warranty for screens. What my brother did was, he asked that team to check for stock in Chennai and they said it's available. He recorded the call and also required mail to ask the service centre to replace the screen. If you go directly to showroom (i know only about OnePlus), they will say there is no replacement screen available it ll take more than 1 month. So they will market you to buy newer version of OnePlus and they will say that they will take the damaged mobile and give you the coupon. THAT'S THE REAL SCAM HAPPENING ATLEAST TAMIL NADU CUSTOM CARE THAT I KNOW OF.

@@rinthia29 contact customer care and say about the issue. Ask for free screen replacement.If they say no or no parts are available or if they say they will give coupon. Ask them to connect to senior customer care. They will surely help you with that. Record those call. You be specific and ask about stock availability and where it's available. Ask them to drop a mail to you. In that ask them to mention the free replacement and stock availability details. Go to customer care ask for screen replacement. If they no stock is available. They you show the call recording and mail regarding screen replacement and stock availability details. They will replace for free. Atleast that's how my brother got his free replacement.

Bro I was using my Samsung S20 Ultra for 3 years and one day as usual I updated software on my phone, the next day there was one green line. I did restart, soft reset, open in safe mode and factory reset. Nothing change. Went to service centre, they asked me to send the phone for screen display change which will cost half of my phone cost.

Great Video....I too faced the same issue with my Nothing Phone 1 (Green line) service center pona scratch iruku romba minute ah irundalum yeduthuka maatom, Neenga dhan display va ethavadhu pannirupenga so 15k aagum nu sonnan (btw phone was just 5-6 months old..oru puthu porul ah yepdi paathupomo avlo careful ah vechrundhen)..Yenna panradhu nu theriyama INGRAM consumer helpline portal la complaint pannitu..Nothing social media team ku indha maari aachu nu msg poten...Complaint raise panna nalaya nu therla but they reached out to me and gave me a replacement under warranty. However, I have a particular concern and doubt regarding soldering issues that occur between the touch-sensitive film, display, BGA SoC, RAM, or the motherboard. The reason for my interest is the fascinating nature of these scenarios. This is because the melting point or soldering temperature of Lead or Tin, which are commonly used in soldering, is typically above 200 degrees Celsius, bro. But our mobilephone not raise the temperature as much.. I'd appreciate it if you could clarify this for your viewers. Everything else looks perfect.

Yes this is a valid point. However, the solder alloy has a range of melting points from 90 to 450 deg. C. Due to the softening of solid (by phase transition - eutectic phase) before reaching the m.pt.(before approx. 10 deg. C) it may undergo breakdown.

It may be gardual degradation due to prolonged use. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which started giving random issues like speaker not working, display sometimes not working and after that it worked fine sometimes. Finally completely dead not going beyond bootloader after 4 years. I used mobile hotspot for 8 hours everyday for 2 years. I suspect that heat created this issue.

Very informative video bro.. As a oneplus user who experienced this green line issue, I blindly beleived this was caused by software update... OnePlus 9 had a green line issue twice they fixed the issue twice without any charge even though the warranty period got over. They said display changed for 2 times. but after seeing this video I thought they changed the display starp as u mentioned 🤔

using samsung s20 plus, got the green lines in august 2022...at that time samsung service centre replaced the display for free.... now march 2024, again got the green display, but this time my screen is broken a little in the corner....so they told no free display replacement.... original display replacement costs around 18,000.... so planning to use the phone till display lasts
