It is without doubt very much needed to remove that bottleneck, however it is two decades too late for a good deal of businesses who have upped sticks and moved to Launceston and so on. I really do hope the landscape is re-planted with trees and native plants.

Looks like the bridge has to be finished first. Doesn't look like much if anything has been done to the carriageway whilst they work on the bridge/pedestrian footway.
