Hello, friends!
In today's video, I'll start a new project. The legendary Japanese fighter Zero. I'll show you how I assembled the cockpit and the engine. And, of course, we won't skip the weathering. Let's do this.

Mr. Hobby hit the mark with their H125 Cowling Color. Just the right hint of blue in the black. It also makes nice IJAAF and IJN anti-glare strips.

The Zero was the first Japanese warplane made with a lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy. The aircraft manufacturers went further with anti-corrosion treatment by spraying Aotake dope on all bare parts, Mitsubishi and Nakajima green for all engine bay and cockpit structures, and a hideous red-oxide on the fuselage, with the exception of fabric-covered flight surfaces.
