Familiarizing to shoot the Great Joy Anamorphic 85mm T2.9 1.8x on a Sony A7sIII 16:9 full sensor readout. Sorry for any soft focus as i am still learning to manually pull focus while also panning which is a good challenge. So, RESPECT to the skillful focus pullers (1st AC) in the industry. Knowing that their skills and art are indispensable in the cinema world to date.

Nice test ! what's the spherical equivalent of the 85mm if you shoot in 16/9 and in 4/3 ? I wonder if it's enough to make a close shot on an interview when the A cam will shot with the 50mm..

Thank you. I shot this using my A7SIII so its a 16/9 aspect stretch. I am not good in math so i am not sure to what equivalent this is if you use a spherical lens
