With members of 2nd gen groups finishing up their military services, I hope more groups will make comebacks soon. It blows my mind when I hear people criticize an idol for having the audacity to be 32 years! Plus, its a chance to normalize having a personal life so people can stop freaking out when their fav starts dating or heaven forbid, gets married!

Mostly it was girl groups that disbanded. Many 2nd gen boy groups Beast/highlight, Inifinite, shinee, 2pm, cnblue, ft island, teen top are still active but are in hiatus due to military enlistment so I hope to see many of them coming soon.

I think, (this is my own opinion) SUJU “sorry sorry” and wondergirls “nobody” are the reason why kpop started to be known worldwide.. andnow, because of their group, other young groups will have hope that they can stay as a group and perform and do what they love to do not even just for 15 years but forever :) thank u suju I think it differs where your country is.. don't take my comment wrong, I'm a part of different fan groups.. what I'm trying to say is, their song was the first of many kpop songs that was known in our country, that's why we started checking out different groups

FYI that title legendary belongs to Shinhwa. I love Super Junior, and yes for 2nd gen boygroup they did well for sticking together but the longest kpop boygroup to exist in history is Shinhwa. 23 years and counting with the ALL original members still active in the group. They were SM entertainment's first gen boygroup that are legends who set the standard of great vocals in a group. They left SM and created their own company/talent agency with their leader Eric Mun as the CEO. If that's not legendary to you, I don't know what is

Suju used to have 13 members on stage like they're big enough to not need any backup dancers. Absolutely missing Heechul, Hangeng, Kangin, Sungmin, and Kibeom so much ❤️

@@charlottediaz7180 They all left for various reasons. Kibum left SJ promotions and SM because he wanted to pursue his acting career. Hangeng left SM after a law suit for an unfair contract around 2009, he's been quite active and prominent as an actor in China. Heechul doesn't perform often (he's still apart of SJ), due to injuries and his car accident in 2006. Sungmin is technically still apart of SJ I believe, however, he's been on hiatus because fans didn't approve of his marriage. Kangin left SJ after his drink driving scandal. So officially I believe it's only Hangeng, Kangin and Kibum that have left SJ

his body no longer fit enough to dance with these kind of choreography due to stage injuries and traffic accident in 2006, older fans and have known suju more than 10 years understands that happens very often in some of older suju music shows and abroad concerts like tours or smtown. 9 minutes long dance on stage surely making his old injuries acting up, instead of hindering other members to perform with him using songs that are less burdensome choreography, heechul decided to not appear.

Suju's popularity hasn't grown as much as it used to do back in its heyday but hey, they never took a long hiatus even when members went to the military, and somehow when they started their own label and had more control, their presence as a staple rather than a passing fad in kpop started to evolve and strengthen. 15 years and still going strong, appearing in awards shows and performing, that's what we really call legends, Suju is the original modern idol group recognized as a multi-faceted and talented group that can stand the test of time and trends

What i really like about suju and most of second gen kpop groups is that i can easily distinguish the members, like each one of them have strong individual presence and style. But then again maybe because they have been in the industry for so long.

True. It's rare for a member to overshadow the others and many of the members excelled in different fields and make name for themselves in them. Although I gotta say that Ryeowook's outfit make him blended with the back-up dancers that sometimes it's hard to see where he was 😂

I cant consider myself as ELF, but as a SONE SuJu is part of my life as kpopers too.... And honestly, each on of them aged so well man..... Thumbs up from a SONE for any ELF who still supporting this guys for 15 years....

Been an elf since i was 12 years old....i'm 21 now and could never and will never be able to stan any other group than super junior. The uniqueness they have no one past,present or future can poses. 15 years and still going strong and dominating award shows and introducing new concepts and ideas (like burn the floor) that lots will try to copy in the future but won't be able to pull it off and they keep holding their ground. Never have i seen a group where all members are vocals true suju has rap line vocal line and dance line but if required to just sing which is what mainly music is about,all of them are more than ready .....truly the last man standing. ELF and proud

Super Junior contributes so much for KPOP popularity . I still remember that they are so popular in Philippines that there so many fans screaming seeing them . And for 15 years their popularity still stand. And new generation kpop should be thankful for this.

Bruh, I teared up so hard looking at this. I remember being a like 10 or 11 years old jamming to this and now I'm an adult 😢. And yes, they're still slaying as they were back then.
