The first group (SB19) that performed (with 5 members) actually not K-pop but P-pop (from the Philippines, not Korea). Their concerts are always dope because of the high energy and their live mics where they sing without backing tracks. They’re known as live monsters. The way they performed here is how their concerts go. They actually had a series of successful concerts in the U.S. and Canada (10 cities) last summer. The group of nine members who joined them in the end was a J-pop group (from Japan).

Thank you for your RV to our dear SB19, they are our foremost Philippine Pop group or Ppop. Their performance during this awards show was so immersive and amazing...I do wish later even in your own time, try to find fancam videos of the same performance . The reason I suggest that, then you will see more of the entire stage, the backdrop, more audience/crowd footages as well which will show the thunderous appreciation and fun everyone was having during the show. It just seemed to you at one point the middle stage looked empty but there was left and right activity going on...a more panoramic view showed that in the fancam videos. &TEAM, a Jpop group is the other group that collabed with SB19 on the 2nd half of the GENTO song.
