If you check the real story of Dangal, there are 3-5 deviations from real story. Example Coach was very good and he didn't misguide, also daughter didn't loose her focus after leaving home.. changing real story to highlight himself is very bad.. and you say he is simple and honest..

Aamir has always been like this, though the motive is to win the hearts to amass the audience for his next movie but, he meant the every words he said, no actors of such level would want to be such humble if not for aamir cause the attitude and ego of being superstar crumples the actors inside to act selfish and superior, in case of aamir he is down to earth, his fame of being a superstar has never touched. He only loves his craft thats all. He respects south people more than bollywood that's for sureee
