Welcome to my Hanoi adventure! In this video, I’ll take you through my exciting journey in Vietnam’s vibrant capital, exploring its rich culture, delicious cuisine, and traditional crafts.
Day 1: Exploring Hanoi’s Heart
My journey begins at the Labevie Hotel, nestled in the historic Old Quarter of Hanoi. This charming hotel offered the perfect base for my explorations.
1. Train Street
I started my day at the famous Train Street, where I enjoyed a unique coffee experience. Sitting at a small café, I watched in awe as a train passed just inches away, a thrilling experience you can only find in Hanoi.
2. St. Joseph’s Cathedral
Next, I visited St. Joseph’s Cathedral, the largest cathedral in Hanoi. This stunning neo-Gothic structure, with its towering spires and intricate details, is a must-see landmark.
3. Note Café
Afterward, I headed to the Note Café, known for its distinctive egg coffee and refreshing coconut coffee. This cozy café is adorned with colorful notes left by visitors from around the world.
4. Lotus Water Puppet Theatre
In the afternoon, I immersed myself in Vietnamese culture at the Lotus Water Puppet Theatre. The water puppet show, with its captivating stories and traditional music, was a mesmerizing experience.
5. Beer Street
As evening approached, I explored the vibrant Beer Street. This lively area is bustling with locals and tourists alike, enjoying cold beers and live music. It’s the perfect place to soak in Hanoi’s nightlife.
6. Hanoi Night Market
Later, I wandered through the bustling Hanoi Night Market. The market is filled with stalls selling everything from souvenirs to street food, offering a true taste of Hanoi’s energetic atmosphere.
7. India Palace
Feeling a bit peckish, I visited India Palace for some delicious snacks. The flavors were a delightful change, and it was interesting to see the blend of Indian and Vietnamese influences.
8. MET Vietnamese Restaurant
To end the night, I dined at MET Vietnamese Restaurant, where I savored traditional Pho Ga, enjoyed some fresh guava, and tried rice wine. I also had the chance to learn how to make summer rolls and enjoyed a delicious fish summer roll.
Day 2: Discovering Traditional Villages
The next day, I embarked on a village tour to explore the traditional crafts and lifestyles of Vietnamese villages.
1. Ha Thai Village (Lacquer Painting Village)
Our first stop was Ha Thai Village, renowned for its exquisite lacquer paintings. I participated in a lacquer painting session, learning about the meticulous process behind this beautiful art form and trying my hand at creating my own piece.
2. Chuong Village (Conical Hat Crafting Village)
Next, we visited Chuong Village, famous for crafting conical hats. Here, I met a lovely Vietnamese couple who shared insights into their culture and daily life. I also learned how to make and paint my own conical hat, a unique and memorable experience.
3. Quang Phu Cau Village (Incense Village)
Our final stop was Quang Phu Cau Village, known for its incense production. I discovered the intricate process of making incense, from selecting the materials to shaping and drying the sticks. The village is filled with vibrant displays of incense drying in the sun, creating a picturesque scene.
This journey through Hanoi, from its bustling streets to its serene villages, offered a deep dive into the city’s rich culture and traditions. Join me as I share my experiences, and don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more travel adventures!

Absolutely blown away by your Hanoi adventure! 🌟🌆. Your vibrant presentation captured the essence of the city and its people so beautifully, making the entire video an absolute delight. From exploring iconic landmarks to savoring the amazing coffee and delving into the cultural richness of nearby villages, you painted a vivid and immersive picture of Hanoi and its wonderful people. What stood out the most was the shared sense of fun between the locals and foreigners. The excitement during the passing train scene was contagious, and witnessing a fellow foreigner (standing behind you) equally thrilled was a heartwarming moment. The night encounter with a Vietnamese guy saying 'namaste' added such a beautiful touch, showcasing the universal language of connection and warmth. I'm genuinely happy for you to experience all these incredible moments, and thanks for your time and efforts to share these vibrant travel vibes with us! Your videos are a true celebration of the universal joy of travel! 🌍🎥✨ PS : Already shared your video with my friends to nudge them to plan a Hanoi trip soon😄
