sandesh sandhilya is the man behind the very beautiful album "ustaad & Diva's" which consists of beautiful compositions like "le ja le ja re" ( which is ruined by t-series ) , "piya basanti re" and many more. can't describe how much i love these songs. such innocence they hold, beautiful lyrics music and compositions. whoever is watching this video should also checkout this beautiful album.

I have always sensed a shared essence between "Aavoge Tum," "Piya Basanti Re," and "Leja Leja," apart from Ustad Sultan Khan saab. Now, I've realized that the composer himself is the common thread. I had assumed "Leja Leja" and "Piya Basanti" were composed by Salim-Sulaiman, and "Aavoge Tum" by Pritam. Sir, you are a legend. You are truly an underrated composer.

Mashable, I don't know if you realise that or not but the work you are doing is not just content it's a very big golden opportunity for musicians and specially for composers and music directors who are still learning and have the potential to be a good musician one day. Because watching a Bollywood level professional studio from inside is a dream to many musicians and composers to be. And sandesh sir the way you breakdown the song it was so good. He didn't even try to hide anything and gave us the breakdown of every single instrument. This kind of stuff I seek to watch. Please make more of these. Love from a composer.

I had a deep attachment with this song,after demise of my father in 2014, I watched this song on TV, when I listened to the flute in the start, suddenly I started thinking of my late father & literally I started crying & turned off the TV. This song is an epic masterpiece.

This song is an absolute Masterpiece. One of my all time favorites. The moment I heard it, I fell in love with it. Knew it was composed by Sandesh Shandliya but didn't know much about him. The man is an absolute genius. Wonderful to see how this song was processed. The icing on the cake was the outstanding rich vocals of Ustad Rashid Khan. Nobody could have sung it better. Thank you so much for this video. Very informative. We need more composers like Sandesh. ❤

I still remember that I was in 2nd class when this movie (and song) came out. My father insisted me a lot to get this song learnt word by word and prepare it to sing infront of everyone. Went throughout the internet, found Ustad Rashid Ali Khan and Sandesh Shandilya sir and all his previous compositions though I wasn't mature enough at that time ki I could understand what a gem all of his songs were. And by this day, this song remains the one which I sing whenever I am asked "Beta, koi gaana sunao" Very nostalgic. Thank you Mashable India for breaking this masterpiece once again.
