2 жыл бұрынThe AAPRCO 2021 American Autumn Explorer made a photo run-by on the final day of the special train at the Vermont Marble Museum at Proctor, VT.
The train was operated by AAPRCO in conjunction with its 43rd convention in Burlington, VT.
13 historic privately owned passenger railroad cars participated. The host railroads were the Vermont Rail System and Amtrak.
Nearly all the cars are available for charter.

Nothing planned. We have a few AAPRCO sponsored events next year. Two in Chicago and one in Florida.

Why did they switch engines? Before it was AMTK 100 and 145. Nice catch though!

Once we left the normal Amtrak route we were no longer an Amtrak special train and could no longer use the Amtrak equipment (Amtrak policy). The host railroad switched to Vermont Rail and we used their locomotives and power car while we traveled on their network until we returned to Rutland and on the normal Amtrak route.
