Well i belive its because if Aaravos found a way out of his prison the world would be at risk of death, dont forget Aaravos is an ancient archimage and the first posseser of the six primal sources and dark magic, to be also the one who gave dark magic to humans, also remember startouch evles get their full strenght from stars and if Aaravos finds his way out the world is at risk as we dont know what Aaravos is capable of

But the fact Runaan KNEW what/WHO it was scares me. I am guessing that when Zubiea ordered him to kill Harrow she told him but I'm actually surprised Rayla didn't know earlier/they didn't see it/AARAVOS didn't see them when she chased them down to Viren's secret room but it really was scary. No one actually knows FULLY what Aaravos is capable of, just as Aaravos didn't know what Rayla was capable of in S3E9, part of the reason I want to see their interaction and how he would interact WITH ZUBIEA AND SOL REGEM, I REALLY want to see him get freed and WHAT he would do. Runaan and Aaravos/ Tiadrin and Aaravos' interactions would we something I can't fathom because they would BOTH know him(So would Lain but Tiadrin is Rayla's MOTHER) but the way Aaravos interacts with people, golden. What he will do and what he is capable of, intrigued in and hoping to see

@@IJustWantToBePerfect. Now that you mention that, I'm personally a little surprised that retrieving the mirror wasn't part of the mission. I mean, Zubeia must have known it was missing, no? And surely preventing the mirror from getting into the wrong hands would be a high priority. Unless she wasn't the one who directly gave the orders. That part is a bit fuzzy to me.
