Hi Tom, The Carbonator 3 features a precision nozzle that's made of stainless steel, which gives a calm and controlled spray beam. The internal system has also been updated that allows for less gas consumption and more efficient carbonation process. The Carbonator 3 also has a new pressure release valve with a quieter sound to signal when the water is carbonated. Additionally, the end cap of the lever is now stainless steel and in the packaging of the Carbonator 3 you will also find a cleaning cloth.

The Aarke 3 is junk. I bought one, it failed on the second bottle. I got a replacement, it failed immediately. There is an O-ring the won't stay in place. This causes an uncontrolled release of the entire CO2 cylinder.

Hey Jim, I'm sorry to hear that your Aarke 3 had a problem. I've had mine since last year and never had any problem at all.
