The language is Malayalam. This song is originally from a Tamil movie called Vinneithandi Varuvaaya and they are performing it like a remake of that original song with some extra BGM. And its very nice.

What a melliflous rendering ! Its so unfair to compared with the orginal; sung by the incredible musician and singer Alphons. I think many of them dont know the talent of alphons. In the film, situation is all about the lover wandering for his love , so that he screams his mind " aromale" what is the film is all about is expressed in that song..and the Alphons nailed it. Here the singer has all the freedom to express his emotion in a different way of presentation and he purified our hearts with his melodious voice. And above all the flutist steals the show ...

This singer f*cker can howl like howl Robert Plant and carnatic' it. The guitarist can do a blend of Page and Prasanna put together. The bassist is is a killer. Other musicians are top notch. This song is set to the Em/A progression similar to the floyd Breathe in the air thingy. Oh wow. You guys have done a mix of my favo musicians Zep, Gilmour and Arr. I am freakin lost for words...

I don't understand Malayalam, but fell in love with the original song, the first time i heard it. Some music go beyond words and leave an impression on the soul. This is one such rare piece of music. Also I loved this cover and can say that it was as good as the original. Kudos.

The original was composed by ARR not just for the audience but to enrich the film's experience. in that manner, the original is way way better. A cover is made solely for the audience satisfaction, so mixing various instruments isn't a problem, which is why some find this better.
