Children should be protected from going on stage and be a role model while they need a role model themselves. That's why I hate kid talent shows for the public. Exposure to so much public and attention isn't healthy for a child. Look how all the child stars grow up and how 'lonely' and ffed up they eventually become when they are grown up. I feel for his soul man. He had a really good soul. He was a kid inside a grown-up body. Just like Michael Jackson, and many others.. Rest in Peace little kid. May the next life one with a more protected childhood and a longer life.

Pressure is actually nothing when you are so naturally gifted.. Aaron was an absolute gem of a talent... Pressure only started to bear down on him in his later years

RIP Aaron, der Song ist so perfekt 90er, auch wenn er "nur" ein Cover von The Jets ist. Ich war damals 13, ein Junge, und hab den ganzen Tag VIVA geschaut in der Hoffnung das der Song kommt. Videorekorder war bereit aufzunehmen, und es verging kein Jahr wo ich den Song nicht gehört habe. Würde den Song definitiv in den Top 100 meines Lebens auflisten.

Really remarkable, having a crowd that HUGE at 9 years old. Cant be healthy though. His life was very interesting, but just too much attention at too young of an age.

He was a natural.. Gifted and incredibly talented... Even justin bieber couldn't comprehend that level of fame at just 9... That's why it's understandable why he became so bitter in his last few years about his comparisons with bieber... It's heartbreaking how he fell after the age of 17. He was a megastar by then... Things went downhill when he found out he got taken advantage of by his own parents... He never recovered from the trauma... By the age bieber only started rising into fame, aaron was already a megastar at that age...

RIP Aaron. Ich erinnere mich, wie begeistert ich als Teenager von ihm und seiner süßen Ausstrahlung gewesen bin. Auch als ich ihn im SOmmer 1998 traf, war er so lieb und süß, wenn auch etwas schüchtern. Heute wissen wir alle etwas mehr über den Hintergrund, dass er mit Drogen und Medikamenten vollgepumpt wurde um zu funktionieren. Mit diesem Wissen bekommt ein Auftritt wie dieser einen ganz anderen Beigeschmack, leider. Es ist schade, was mit Aaron passiert ist. Und aus der Sicht eines heute Erwachsenen muss ich sagen, so sehr wie wir ihn damals angehimmelt und angefeuert haben, es war nicht richtig von uns aber es war noch weit weniger richtig von den Eltern und den Erwachsenen, die um ihn herum waren und ihn immer wieder auf die Bühne gebracht haben, ihn als wandelnde Gelddruckmaschine ausgebeutet haben. Ich hoffe wirklich, dass wir daraus gelernt haben und keine kleinen Kinder mehr auf die Bühne setzen.

I don't think it was his net worth.. He probably made revenues of 200 million.. But after paying for the expenses like taxes and fees, he was probably left with something like 70/80 million... But his parents took away from that too...

He loved doing this. He talked about it many times on his interviews and lives. He loved doing tours and performing like this. In fact it’s what he was working on to bring back in the final years before he died. He loved this and always talked about it with fondness.

Es ist merkwürdig: Vor einigen Tagen habe ich noch meine bespielt gekauften VHS-Kassetten durchgesehen. Das hatte ich vorher seit vielen Jahren nicht mehr getan... Ein Abspielgerät habe ich auch heute noch. Da fiel mir ausgerechnet zunächst die VHS von und mit Aaron Carter als Kind in die Hände.... Heute habe ich noch einmal danach geguckt, sie aber nicht gefunden..., Jedenfalls hatte ich sie nicht aussortiert, um sie mal wieder abzuspielen... Ich wiederhole: Merkwürdig !

@@p-n-d-m Großes Selbstvertrauen als Kind und dann die "kalte Dusche" , wenn man später eben nicht mehr so gefragt sein sollte. Unverarbeitete negative Erlebnisse kommen möglicherweise noch hinzu. Die hatte ich z,B. als Kind noch vor dem Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs.... Eine Katastrophe, wenn man dann zu Drogen greifen sollte.

Du hättest ihn mal persönlich treffen sollen du wärst ohnmächtig geworden ich kenne die ganze Familie als die Backstreet Boys gerade entstanden sind habe ich mit angefangen Bühnenbau darunter auch für die Jungs irgendwann auch später für Aaron mein richtiger Name ist Nicolas als Nick Carter den gehört hatte sagte er auf Englisch zu meiner Schwester the name is to long his now Nick number 2 seitdem trage ich den Namen echt merkwürdiges Gefühl bin immer noch geschockt dass Aaron Selbstmord gemacht hat er hatte es sehr sehr schwer

just a thought. I´m not sure if children should be allowed to be working in showbusiness to this extent - having responsibility to perform publicly somewhere on television, and doing it all over again... just for their own wellbeing, so many of them seem to have problems later (to name a few: Michael Jackson, Britney, Aaron Carter)

That is why he never crossed his music into adulthood....And would call himself the biggest thing in pop music.....The things that drugs make you think....He never was a musician nor wrote any hits he was cute kid but that didn't last long but that was all he had.....To bad the parents didn't make him a musician instead he was a cash cow and mommy and daddy was a long for the ride.....But when cow wasn't giving no more cash they didn't care what happened to him....Sad Sad...
