The 'Monastery of Sound' volume 1 really encapsulates pure creative freedom for me. I produce, mix, and master all of my own tracks so this video is the culmination of hundreds of hours of work, spent alone in my living room, on the train and at the monastery. With this first volume I blended orchestral productions with progressive trance, techno and breakbeat. The track-listing contains several originals and edits for some of my favourite artists such as FOALS, Rüfüs Du Sol and London Grammar.
This set felt like the perfect way to close volume 1. I had no budget to film a video but me and my friend Janis wanted to make something creative to share with you. I'm going to continue the Monastery of Sound mixtape series probably for the rest of my career, and I just hope you all can find something you're inspired by. 🔔🏛

I’ve been a trance fanatic since it’s inception, also a Dead Can Dance fan and love your atmospheric blends that includes tubular bells. You Sir are big news, you have incredible skills, I don’t call your productions remixes, they’re enhancements. Your whole sound has a uniqueness like a modern day Jean Michel Jarre, you have a great future ahead of you in the music industry. Love the feeling from this some proper trance you can vibe to and still has a drop on the tracks, I feel a lot of artists trying to do this music have forgotten it isn't just the same beat repeated and has to feel like it is going somewhere
