I like Aaron Judge, great player and a great team player. He was a beast last year and has a chance to be a beast this year. Probably will be one of the best home run hitters of all time when he retires.

Gotta learn how to hit elite pitching first. He's got amazing power but being able to hit guys like Sale, Kluber etc will be the difference in him either becoming Albert Pujols or Adam Dunn.
@rafaelgonzalez91506 жыл бұрын
irishwhip03 Albert pujols post cardinals hasn't been that impressive. He was once a top 5 player in the league and today, he is not even in the top 25, in my humble opinion
@NothingToPointOut246 жыл бұрын
+Rafael Gonzalez Thats fair. But he's still a hall of famer, even with his subpar Angels career. He's done it all, in the regular season and more importantly the postseason. Dunn, despite all the homers he hit, isnt. And thats the difference for me. Judge has all the talent in the world, but he can hit all the homers he wants and hit me as far as he wants. But if he doesnt do it agaisnt the better pitchers in the league in the time of the season when it counts, he wont go down as one of the best of today.

I enjoy watching Aaron Judge hitting mammoth home runs. His opposite field power is majestic. He even crushes mammoth opposite field home runs too. In home run derby, he even crushes opposite field home runs too. He definitely hits mammoth home runs in all fields. I guess he can hit an opposite field home run into McCovey Cove (splash hit the other way).
@davyt02476 жыл бұрын
I am sure he could, I wouldn't be surprised if he could hit one into the Allegany as well.
@davyt02476 жыл бұрын
well that's pretty much all he hits, he's like Matsui in that regard, both basically only hit opposite field, although both hit to all fields, but opposite field is the norm

As long as he can maintain that opposite field power, he'll have no trouble reaching another 40+ HR season in 2018. I remember ESPN years back did an analysis on Adrian Beltre's dominating season in 2004 with the Dodgers, which he never replicated. His success? He hit more to the opposite field and after that season he altered his swing and was pulling the ball too much.

Stanton and judge have always been my favorite but Stanton sucked this year only hit 3 home runs judge hit 27 Stanton hit 59 in 2017 but he wasn’t a rookie and judge was and he hit 52 most by a rookie till Pete Alonso hit 53 as a rookie in 2019 new record Good job all three of them

WeRightNow I disagree. The postseason is about coming up in clutch moments not overall statistics. Judge has a few key moments that led the Yankees to ALCS Game 7.

To A. Judge Why don't you play in Japanese professional baseball? At that time, welcome to Yomiuri Giants!
@TheShachattack136 жыл бұрын
I love watching judge hit, but he was not clutch during the regular season. He only had 3 hrs all year to tie or take the lead 6th inning or later, none of which came in the 9th- he also hit a lot of of his hrs in blowouts. He'll certainly have the chance to redeem himself though with a big game on tuesday
@veehaytch34406 жыл бұрын
Yo for real give me a break. team mvp and it's not close.
@thomasmiller63526 жыл бұрын
Thats only because he is not pitched to in a clutch situation and walks
@roseforyoubabe6 жыл бұрын
so hitting home runs in the first or adding to your lead in the 3rd is not clutch or how about those 2 home runs he hit in the biggest comeback win of the year vs the orioles..or last night 2 run home run vs the twins according to you is not clutch cause the yanks already had a 1 run lead at the time..
@GabrielPerez-yk5dk6 жыл бұрын
roseforyoubabe it's not clutch because it's early in the game. Half the game is yet to be played and you know you're gonna get another At bat for sure versus hitting one in your last at bat when it counts.
@indiapacheco89976 жыл бұрын
Never mind the fact teams pitch him away and umps handed out favorable strikes. He also walked the most.. in clutch situations he was walked. Besides.. runs are runs.. All runs count for sometnig
@Flexb1236 жыл бұрын
I don't consider 2017 HRs as impressive as the years before. The ball was juiced all season, guys who normally hit 10 hrs per season, hitting 20 and so on. Pullhitters going opposite field no doubters. Look at the world series, seemed like every guy coming to bat had 2-3 HRs just that series alone! lol I'd rather see the Heavy hitters hit the HRs, not every player. No doubt judge, stanton are the modern day heavy hitters, but their numbers are a bit skewed with the extra pop they're getting off the balls. Even Judge, alot ofhis are just pop fly's, but with his strength he can get them to carry over the wall. Other guys have to barrel the ball up perfectly, not him.
@indiapacheco89976 жыл бұрын
Flexb123 Pitchers don't buzz. They don't establish the Inside. Players don't give a fuck no more. They swinging for power
@Flexb1236 жыл бұрын
Pitchers and position players have said from various teams that the balls were different in 2017. Its a fact, although MLB denies it. But i've heard many different sources say they're spun a tighter and is also the reason more pitchers are getting blisters. I also know a pitcher on one of the teams that has a ball from 2016 in his locker and showed a sports station crew that same ball and compared it to a 2017 ball. It looks the same but the cast said you could feel it was different.
@indiapacheco89976 жыл бұрын
Flexb123 Amazing.. but it doesn't surprise me much.. after I heard kickoff balls are more inflated than game... I knew I was pure politics.. still.. you gotta be coordinated
@davidtaweel18326 жыл бұрын
lmao you do realize that Judge was averaging 400+ ft home runs right? Juiced balls had nothing to do with his big year. I do agree that these 180 lb Shortstops shouldn't be hitting 25+ HR's though.
@Flexb1236 жыл бұрын
The thing about guys like Judge and Stanton, they don't have to barrel a ball up to hit it out. They can just miss it, yet still have enough power for the ball to carry over. Which is why when you do see Judge barrel one up, it's close to 500 ft or even more. But last years balls were carrying alot more than seasons past, which is only gonna help those what should be routine pop flys, carry over the wall more. But looking back, it makes it that much more impressive that a guy Like Bautista, who's barely 200lbs and maybe 5'11, hit 54 bombs post PED era, and before the juiced ball era.
@danieladriantororuiz87466 жыл бұрын

So it's a home run or a strikeout. How is this guy not the next Dave Kingman?
@guff17026 жыл бұрын
Bloodbath Warrior salt everywhere cus facts are being spat at u
@Flexb1236 жыл бұрын
Kingman also didn't hit juiced balls. The 2017 HR numbers were way up for most players across the league. If Mark M hit with those balls, would have hit 100+ hrs.
