Loved what Aaron Lewis did with Staind. Always thought he had an incredible voice. Just saw Staind in concert last night. They crushed. As a metal fan (specifically death metal, metalcore, deathcore, and slam metal) and a death metal drummer, country has always hit me deep. The lyrics and the way they put it all together just breaks my heart. They have this ability to tell a story and just get into the soul. Powerful. Aaron Lewis is awesome.

Hi, I just wanted to comment and say 2 different things. One, I absolutely am a huge fan of Aaron Lewis and Staind from back in the day. He is another example of amazing talent, and not just being pigeonholed in to 1 genre, or another. Who knows maybe he'll start signing some totally different genre & I bet that would be amazing as well!!! On, a different note thank you thank you to all of our military, veterans, their families. They are people of genuine service in & out of uniform always. Always putting others above & before themselves. I know of a San Diego sailor who just had gotten home from a deployment, and saw a homeless man with no shoes. The sailor went & bought the homeless man a pair of shoes, and put them on his feet. I wish I had a video to share, but that's just one example there's so many. They are living examples of what I believe President Kennedy may have meant when he said "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." They risk their lives for our freedom; including the right to free speech like we have right in the comments. Find some ways to thank, appreciate, honor their service, sacrifice and commitment every chance that you get. Thank you so much and God Bless you all!!❤😊

I had heard he was moving to a country style music. Didn’t know what to expect from it but this is badass. It actually speaks to me quite abit. I grew up just like him hunting, fishing, living in the country wanting nothing more than to be a successful musician in the city. Now the past few years I got depressed because I realized the cities suck as does the government so why the hell would I want to go be a musician in a place where people hate me and my ideologies like hunting, huge 2A guy, etc etc. this song makes me think I can still have a career without abandoning all the things I grew up loving.
