The reason there is no hug is because in that moment Aaron is so vulnerable he can't be touched by anyone it is perfectly done ....... This is something he never told anyone that it proves how much he still loves Robert even if he doesn't know it himself yet ........ Great acting

+holly jennings I completely agree. The fact that he trusted Robert with it is a big thing. It proves also that he at least wants what Robert has said to be true. He wants to believe that Robert loves him.

Yes I agree he hopes to ert is sincere and I think his love for Aaron is robert s think he knows who he is and I think Aaron can help him like Jackson did with him

I can't believe Gordon can sit there and try to calm Chas's worries over Aaron when he knows exactly why Aaron has such a problem with him and the two of them being together, to have the audacity to play the good father and husband is just dispicable!

I think also hearing this will help Robert in a way he can see how strong Aaron is and that there are worse things a person can go through Robert always thinks of himself I hope this shows him and helps him become a better man for Aaron.....

This gay storyline blows the rest of the show out of the water. Emmerdale writers keep up the good work we want more Robron! The Jackson storyline does not even compare to this. This storyline might educate people that gay men can love each other just like heterosexual couples. I am disappointed there was no hug between Aaron and Robert.

+JordanjamesX Now you know that Aaron had a reason to act like, in your words, a thug. And why would Aaron hug Robert? He has professed his love before and apologized for being nasty to Aaron, and then gone back to being a snake. Notice that he keeps telling Aaron he loves him, but will not confess it to his own trusted sister. Robert says he finally came to terms with his being in love with Aaron, now let's see how he intends to do things differently. And I also at this point doubt very much that Aaron has been bottoming for Robert.

Hoking loly Robert is the first person Aaron confined in about his rape, remembering those feelings would be enough for his to not want to be touched and I think Robert knew that

I totally understand why Aaron doesn't want to tell chas for some people who have been sexually assaulted when they tell people who are close to them they're not believed
