@@God-du2ir Jets have a great team, but I do not believe last year was a fluke for Rodgers. He will continue deteriorating and lacks charisma/accountability to keep a team together in a dangerous AFC East. If the Jets were in the NFC, they make the playoffs but im not sure that's the case in the AFC. But the Jets young core is astounding, and I think they're a conference finalist with Lamar or Fields. Just seems like they're after the wrong guy.

It looks like an end of a chapter for the Green Bay Packers. 15 years ago the Packers traded 1st ballot Hall of Famer Brett Favre to the Jets. 15 years later the Packers will trade 1st ballot Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers to the Jets. The Jordan Love era officially begins in GB.

The Jets beat the Packers with Zach Wilson at QB last season. Rodgers doesn't want to play with a TOP 5 defense that has great (LB Mosley) to elite (CB Sauce, DT Quinnen) players at every level? with the exception of the O line (especially when compared to the O lines that GB have put him behind in his career) hes probably very excited. I dont expect the jets offence to be in the same stratosphere as the 2020 packers or the jordy/jennings packers teams but the defence will help Rodgers out and they will be competitive.

How could you blame Rodgers for wanting to stay in GB? Dude was drafted there and experienced the highest level of success with them. He spent his entire career there, that's home. Also lets say FS1 wanted to move on from Nick and told everyone else but him. You're telling me Nick wouldn't be mad or upset. The hypocrisy is real Rodgers is a clear upgrade for NYJ. The Jets will be a playoff team with Rodgers. The Jets are a young improving team and I believe they have a better roster than GB. We definitely need to stop comparing AR to TB. Brady went to a stacked Tampa offense. Rodgers is going to a young team that has yet to reach it's full potential. Rodgers needs more respect from the media.

Aaron is paying for choosing to announce his decision on McAfee's show and not on the traditional big sports media show. I actually respect him for that. Regarding the issue of Packers leaking that they wanted to move on - Most of us deduced that when they drafted his successor without so much as a text to inform him, and that was 3 seasons ago. The MVP seasons spoiled Guntekunsts plans otherwise they would have moved more quickly. I wish Aaron the best, i hope he plays like the HOF great player he is and shuts up some doubters.

I think it will work. Great D and the Ravens won 2 Super Bowls with a great D and mediocre QBs. The Broncos won with great D and the mortal remains of Peyton Manning. Favre was 8-3 with the Jets before he got hurt.

I don't think this'll be a disaster because the team is so motivated. When you have your faces of the franchise, which are rookies, making videos tweeting all the time and making headlines just to get a chance to play with this guy, you understand the mentality of this team. And this team was as complete as any other team in the league apart from their QB. They have a phenomenal defense, the running game was great with another rookie before and injury and the passing game clearly has potential with their receivers. And the fact that they want Aaron so bad is what makes it great. Aaron might not feel the same way as them but there is not a single environment to walk into that he would have preferred. They like him and they clearly want him. He is welcome there. You see them hiring Nathaniel Hackett, the players are getting involved publicly, they're signing players that he wants to make him happy, you see Greeny from ESPN talking and praying about it every day to the point where he says he might cut his meat to get a chance to see this guy in a Jets jersey. That wasn't the deal with Favre. Brett wasn't loved the way Rodgers was coming into this organization. Rodgers is walking to a team that is complete on all ends, that is young and motivated just as anybody to go all-in despite them still being so young with their core players.
