He's absolutely right and I feel like that happens in all sports constantly like let it play out, let these guys flourish and evolve over the years. You look at guys like Bedard, McDavid, Sid, Nate, they all got pressured to hell to play like a god when they came in. The jump from Juniors to the chel is a HUGE jump and it takes TIME to get used to play at that level.

@@slipjones2 Love's getting better....earlier ,his balls were showing up just a little too late, making the coverage guys look great, but now...he's gettin' there. I'm sure "money" is the furthest thing from his mind, during a game. In fact, I'm positive. It's a chess game out there. Lotta moves to learn. I don't see a big ego; he's pretty humble about it all. He's not looking for anything but wide open guys and a W.

I’m sure people will clip this to make Aaron look bad but this is a great take. It’s rare that 1st rounders get time to grow like Love, most are thrown out to start on bad teams and everyone expects a savior immediately. Some kids break from it and never recover their careers.

Exactly. i believe its a combination of fans that want him to fail so they can blame Gute for everything combined with the talking heads that consider themselves "experts" that continuously squawked that he wouldn't be anything more than a backup. A bears fan i know constantly told me he was scared for the future cause he could see the "it" factor in Love and it was only going to be a matter of time till he put it all together.

Honestly, he didn't play well in his first three games. He has showed flashes all year, even in the ugly losses. The first couple games just look better because of the box score but overall he was making the same mistakes. The difference between now and the beginning of the season is he is actually playing at an elite level right now, and the numbers are backing it up. I am sure his play will fall off a bit, but I don't think that he is the QB we saw in September and October going forward.

Anyone who thinks Aaron Rodgers is a jerk should simply listen to him actually speak because he's always laying truth and facts down. I remember the ludicrous way people reacted when they moved on from Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers yet I wanted to reserve my opinion of him which is the same thing I'm doing with Love. I don't think any of the Packer fans should write off Love after a bad game but I don't think we should be inducting him into the HOF just yet either. Credit to Matt LaFleur. He’s designed offensive schemes that put Jordan in the best situation to succeeed. Utilizing a lot of presnap motion and quick reads. But like Aaron said, it’s Year 1 for him. Let’s not overreact. Teams, especially your division rivals, study tape and learn your tendencies. We’ve seen him miss wide open receivers and float some interceptable passes. He hasn’t had to deal with a lot of pressure because of good O line play and plays designed to make him get the ball out quickly so we haven’t had to see him improvise very much when a play breaks down. As quick as we are to write Wilson off as a bust, we shouldn’t be quick to write Love as future HOF candidate.

Terry Bradshaw and Noll are the best example of Aarons don't crown early, it can destroy them. 4 years it took Terry. Then in the next six seasons they had four Lombardi trophies. Patience is a lost art. To quote some guy I heard "Reeeeeelax. Relax"

I actually agree with AR on this. Just watch him play and when he does great accept that. When he has bad games ok so be it. It takes time to get to an elite level as a player in the NFL

The reason things work out for packers and qbs is that they have the patience for it unlike other teams when a qb plays bad 1 season they are already searching for the next meanwhile packers have always been known for draft and develop and that requires patience

This is a recently generated myth. The only reason Rodgers stayed in GB after drafting Love is because Rodgers was pissed about the drafting of Love so he went out and pulled down another MVP. Gutenkunst plan was to move on after a year and Rodgers threw a wrench into those plans. That is pretty well documented. And if Rodgers had been more Favre like, he would not have mentored Love nor would he have recommended to LaFleur to bring in Clements to be the QBs coach to help bring Love along. No, this was not a Packers plan. GB stumbled into this because Rodgers forced their hand.

Love carries himself very well. He neither gets too elated nor too somber. He's like a seasoned vet in each interview I've seen of him, not listening to the chatter from the armchair qbs out there. Focused.

Just because you draft a QB in the first round, doesn't mean they're NFL ready. Usually if your drafting high it's because you have a lot of needs. O Line is the big one. Teams have to have patience, fans too.

The people of Wisconsin have had their expectations tempered when it comes to all aspects of this team really because we know we are the youngest team in the league. Best we hope for is to get into the playoffs and possibly win 1 game and I'm happy.
