IMO the Jets will be just fine the hype is where it needs to be. Yeah the Jets W’s we’re against backups QB’s but we played with backup QB’s or subpar QB play All season and were in most games until the 4th quarter. Definitely see the jets as a playoff team.

The last 5 games of the Packers' season with Rodgers went like this: - Beat the worst team in the league - Beat the 3rd worst team in their conference while they have a literal jobber QB playing his 2nd game for them - Beat a team with a QB who had suffered multiple concussions throughout the season and threw 3 interceptions in the game - Beat the Vikings where Cousins also threw 3 interceptions and the league's leading receiver had 1 possession for 15 yards in the entire game - Lose to the Lions Even in the game where they hung 40+ on Minnesota, Rodgers threw for less than 160 yards and had 1 TD.

The Jets roster is heads and shoulders above the packers roster. Last year if you swapped the qbs, even with Rodgers down year, the jets go to the playoffs and contend for the division, while the packers struggle to win 3 games.

Fractured Throwing thumb, hurt Rookie Wrs multiple times throughout year, Hurt Star Left tackle, banged up Aaron Jones in Final stretch. Below Average Def with a hurt star DE. Wr room with the most drops by far last year. Do I need to remind you that he went B2B MVPs the year prior, and people called him washed then. He now has a top 5 young Def and is on a team with legit weapons. The ONLY issue with the Jets hype is that they have one of the Hardest Schedules this year, but in terms of talent they are very well built compared to GB.

@@brandonl2555 Jets schedule was significantly weaker last year than it is this year and Rodgers went from being a top 3 QB in the NFC to not even being top 5 in the AFC. If the Jets played in the NFC then they'd be a shoe in. If they open the season by going 2-4 in the first 6 weeks, which is a very real possibility, expect the entire project to implode.

What none of these yahoos mentions is that the Jets led the league in starters on IR last season, and that's why they lost their last 6. At one point they were down to their #5 and #6 OT's, and even started a Guard at Tackle for a couple of games. If their starters can actually stay healthy, or even just have an average year of injuries, they will be MUCH better.

Are the Jets contenders? Sure, but so are about 10 teams in the AFC. I could easily see them having a slow start, and be fighting for their playoff lives by November, and an afterthought by December. But there's always one surprising team that snags a spot, and it could definitely be the Jets this year.

Nick glossed over the fact their defensive line dominated Buffalo and Josh Allen in both games, and were in the verge of sweeping Buffalo had Mike White not got his ribs broke and forced them to play with a 3rd string QB. Let's not forget the Pats won twice against the Jets without scoring an offensive TD. Berrios dropped a game winning pass against the Vikings also. With just mediocre QB they would have easily been a playoff team.

I also hate the calling out of teams who beat teams that aren’t good. You play who is on your schedule. They are all pros and no matter who is on the field, you are expected to execute. It’s kinda like Denver. Great roster and were in most games by one score but their offensive issues lost them games.

In the first meeting Zach Wilson did beat the alleged poster boy for the NFL that season, Josh Allen. This is a slap on Zach Wilson. The team went down the drain for one bad game. The Jets got psyched by that one reporter's question and lost it, instead of supporting Wilson. It was a gelling moment, that flew over their heads. Zach Wilson got blamed for the lack of veteran leadership standing up for him even though he had beaten the Bills, obviously that did not mean a thing to the team. He was a rookie playing well but had a bad day. The Jets should have won their division last season.

Green Bay did not replace Davante Adams. Aaron was angry that they didn't pay Davante and just let him go. (@ the 11th hour they matched the offer from LV but Adams felt disrespected and was mentally gone) Aaron knew those 3 WR rookies were untested, wet-behind-the-ears, prone to drops, would have a difficult time learning routes, plays. He was punishing GB for that move by refusing to engage w/those receivers in OTA's.
