I know how you feel, dude. I've buried many friends in recent years. I buried a friend a few months back that I worked with at my job every day for the last 13 years. That one destroyed me. JDF clearly valued your friendship. I'm a veteran with PTSD, I'm only still here cuz I reached out and got help. You really should do that documentary. That would be awesome. My sister is a huge MMPR fan. I helped her to eventually get a Pink Ranger costume. I think I got her Pink Ranger helmet from the same Etsy artist who did my Rebel Pilot helmet. I even did a surprise unboxing of her when she opened the box that contained her helmet. I even took her to see the MMPR 2017 movie. She went over the edge emotionally when she saw Amy and Jason on screen at the same time.

There’s a hole in my heart that I have trouble filling. Jason was one of the most influential people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and keeping up with. There was no other celebrity I had more respect and admiration for than him. Whether it was through his time on the power rangers and the lessons that I learned through his character or the interviews I’ve seen with Jason himself speaking or the short time I got to chat with him at a con and at his first pro MMA fight in Houston where he tapped the guy out in like 40 to 50 seconds. He was always a huge inspiration for me and he was a big part of why I’ve come to love everyone. We all have issues we’re all trying to deal with in the only ways we know how. Some are stronger than others but even the strongest person can still be pushed to the edge. It’s terrifying for me because I know I’m nowhere near as strong as someone like Jason and that edge has been creeping up to me and I’m now staring off that edge with no more steps to take. It’s a make or break time for me and I’m so scared because of how weak I am. I pray I can find a way to back away from that edge, but I know that even though I have no love for myself I love each and every one of you all as my brothers and sisters. Rest in peace Jason. You’ll always be remembered for being the gentle, kind, dedicated, and generous spirit you’ve shown us all you are. I pray I see you again in Heaven. Everyday I think of the motto you used in your MMA career, “Jesus didn’t tap”. I pray I can find it in myself, as I pray for everyone dealing with their own issues to not tap as well. It’s ok to ask for help, and it even makes you a stronger person in my eyes as well as anyone else who has honestly contemplated these difficult issues. Much love and prayer to you all and may the power protect you. ❤
