This storyline was amazing to watch, it brought out the best acting from all involved, not to mention the least Lacey Turner.

I remember the assisted suicide story got Emmerdale this award. It was truly deserved. So daring and successful and what quality with those actors! The rape story has been great too, but not quite as perfect in some aspects. Imo the best story of the year from beginning to end, with a perfect pacing and all, was Laurel´s drinking problem.
