Happy Birthday, Doc! Thanks for another year of excellent content! I might be trippin, but this version of Majid reminds me of the evolved form of 2015 Majid. I cite 2015 (the year he partnered with Waydi for Fusion Concept) because his dance seemed especially sloppy, but also clearly had interesting new elements. 2016-17 he kind of got, I don't know what, those were some low years, but he re-emerged in 2018 with the curly hair and a more grounded approach. He's really refined his dance, I think, and these rounds look like what I imagine he was trying to do in 2015.

You deadass made it a lesson just by watching it with the intent you did. Like if I dont focus then im not gonna even be able to understand what youre saying so I have to pay attention. This is the most instructive fundamental battle i've ever seen, and I didn't even realize it until you made this video. Its like I walked past the mona lisa laying on the street and said "thats cool" and kept walking, then you picked it up, hit me with the corner of the frame and forced me to stare at it for 10 minutes. This gettin kinda glazy, but im grateful for your work. And specifically this video because I really kinda thought the final was mid on my first watch, which is actually embarrassing for me to admit. i missed so much shit its crazy. Majid is a fucking monster and I hate it cause his style has so much tame movement. I had to watch alex 2 step the shit outta ikki, and now i gotta watch majid jiggle rochka and rubix to death. Already congratulated you on Streamlabs but it's worth repeating. Happy Birthday Metal! Some thoughts: -Would have loved to see more Sidney rounds. -Ukay went hard but he somehow went even harder in the House category in this event IMO -The way Majid keeps challenging his own balance is bedazzling to see in person. It seems like he should've fallen over dozens of times. Yet he never does. -Franky Dee knows how to throw an event (If we look past the one round Top 8). The big names should hire both Franky and Metal to sort their mess out from the ground up.
