How’s the built in mic volume during phone calls? I tested 3 already from the shop and they all had very low mic volume. Almost unusable. The other person on the line can barely hear me. I would need to speak, almost shout, just for them to hear me.

Hhhhh, really helpful of your comparison. But I still cannot decide to buy mid anc or 1000xm2 and so hope you to help me make final choice or give me some advices, Aaron. 👀 For me I think nc is a must because I need a relatively quiet context for my reading and studying. Based on price tag I researched in Hong Kong, both of them are nearly the same or just a little bit difference so it is harder for me to make a choice🤪. I’ve just tried 1000xm2 and mid bluetooth so actually I don’t know what exactly the effect of mid anc, maybe in terms of noise canceling 1000xm2 would be better, right? or in terms of sound quality especially when listening music like R&B, Jazz, sometimes listening white noise 🤣 which one would be better? Many thanks~~~~~😆

Hi Aaron, could you please tell me how is the bluetooth connection (when you move around without your device) and how comfortable are the MID ANC? I can see that you are also wearing glasses. Do your ears hurt after wearing them constantly for 4-5h? I'm currently testing the Marshall Monitor Bluetooth and even though so many people find them comfortable, for me they aren't (I'm so annoyed with the inside part of the cup pressing directly my ears). It's a pity because I really like them, but I guess the over-ears just do not work for me. I would appreciate if you could provide me your feedback on that. Thanks!

Hi, if you aren't comfortable with how the inside of the Monitor's earcups are pressing against your ears, I would recommend trying the MID ANC first in a store to see if you prefer that fit. Because the MID's earcups are going to press directly on your ears. Bluetooth connection is good when moving around within a distance of 10 meters.

Yes Marshall MID ANC is a decent first step, though I will also mention the Major 3 Bluetooth because it has a lighter clamping pressure. (It has a lighter grip on your head) It's better for someone who's new to headphones.

Hi @ i am enjoying your videos and my head is overtaken by marshall headphones want ask you a question. What you recommended to me? I am not a person who spend half days in headphones. most track i listen is Rock. I adore the design for marshalls and specially major 3 (but sad that they have no golden marshall logo) however marshal MID ANC is nice but twice expencive. And of course I am looking for Bose QC35 II and sony xm3. so it is really worth to spend more money and get MID ANC or with budget major3 I be happy? or better raise funds and look for Sony or Bose? But honestly I love price of major 3 ......)))))))) from all this models. So need help and advice, because I am totally lost . Thank you.

how do you think the normal mid bt compare to major ii bt? i found a great deal online for the mid (and its original! not oem stuff) for almost major ii bt prices, but does it worth the extra money?

I found the Mid BT a lot more comfortable to wear and more gentle on the bass. Overall I prefer the Mid BT's sound quality to the Major II BT. It also feels more sturdy.

have you noticed any sound quality difference while using wired 3.5mm cable vs bluetooth? in my case for mid anc, sound quality via cable is poorer and not comparable to wireless.can anyone check and confirm?

On wireless, the headphones are drawing power from their internal amplifier and not from your phone, so it will sound different.

I have a question: do Marshall Mid Bluetooth have this video latency problem? I love their design and I don’t need noise cancelling and I watch videos a lot, so it’s important for me. Great video, great cinematic shots and it’s substantive and helpful.

Thank you! The Mid Bluetooth supports aptX, so if the device that you watch videos on has aptX there won't be a latency issue. Otherwise there may be a small lag of a few ms which is barely noticeable in most cases.

I like Marshall Mid BT better for it's battery life, its comfort, its grunge look and sound quality. Though I have to admit the Beats Solo 3 Wireless works seamlessly with Apple devices. So if you have everything Apple and you switch between these devices a lot, you could consider the Solo 3 instead.

I use samsung devices. Is Marshall Mid BT comfortable? some people say that their ears hurt after while, or the head piece is not comfortable, or your ears sweat. Is it true? Thanks :)

They must have been referring to the Major II Bluetooth which had a tighter clamp. The Marshall Mid has a more gentle clamp and I find it a pretty comfortable on-the ear headphones. The head piece distributes weight pretty well because it's a bit broader than in other wireless headphones. As for sweaty ears.. Well. Having tried so many headphones I've come to realize that sweaty ears are a fact of life when wearing headphones - due to heat and moisture from our skin.

очень понравились наушники. захотел купить, хотя стоят не мало. но нашёл обзор где их ремонтируют.увидел как они выглядят внутри и теперь я их не куплю ни когда. сделаны очень не качественно (как будто делают серую технику в подвале), электроники совсем мало, монтаж не качественный. красная цена им 1 т. руб. раскрутили брэнд аш на 9000 руб. полное г--но. я думаю, что все наушники marshall такие же?

Don't think you can compare them to Bose or Sony as they are both over the ear phone where Marshall is on the ear. Wach over ear provide passive noise cancelling. I had Sony worth €400 and will never buy them again. Soundtrack quality was ok and noise cancelling probably best on the market. These were SONY WH-1000XM2 and clamp snaped in the point where "v" shape grove is placed. I took extreme care over them but still heppened. Sony customer care is the worst one you can get and they have told me this is mechanical damage and can't go for warranty. So €400 home for good. How come headphones for that price are masę out of fucking plastic? My questions is: Are these Marshall also plastic? I AM wondering between them and Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 on ivory color. Would live to go for over the ear ones but these are again nearly €400 od want for Android and only about €200 for iOS which is just a fucking joke.
