I don't agree with what the female commentator said about the state of USA women's volleyball. We are not where we're supposed to be, we will be lucky if we medal this time at the next Olympic Games. I think Karch's system is no longer working. Opponents know the U.S. system and they are able to counteract it or stop it. We don't have the hitters that we used to, or at least the level of those hitters (Tom, Hooker, etc.). The level of setting for the U.S. has dropped off since Glass retired and Kreklow departed. Lloyd and Hancock aren't cutting it, Carlini is behind those two setters in the depth chart. I really like Karsta Lowe and Akinradewo, who are still with the team.
