Well, this festival is celebrated by married women fasting one day and praying for their husbands' long lives and unmarried women asking god to give them good husbands. Before the actual fasting day they dress up, party and dance. This much is what I can tell you even though I don't belong to those castes who celebrate this festival "Teej"😊😊
