50 weeks im new to the gun world just bought my first rifle about yr and half ago and just bought the Ab raptor 10 5 inch reflex a month and half ago i know they said up to a yr and so much for hoping in 4 months or so glad yours finally happened for you

@@ABsuppressor How is the reflex any different from the flash hider adaptors that I use on my AAC 7.62SN? Are you going to court about this?

@@TT-ch2pz AAC muzzle devices as well as other standard (all muzzle forward) flash hiders are, in terms of both design & intent, very different from an AB Reflex mount. The primary difference being that a Reflex mount contains additional internal volume used to aid in suppression when utilized in conjunction with the suppressor body. Your AAC 3 prong flash hider is making your can louder, not quieter, via it’s geometry and the subsequent gas flow pattern induced within the blast chamber, effectively forcing all the combustive gasses in a very linear way directly out the front of the can through the borepath. The Reflex actually makes the suppressor quieter by using what is essentially a single port muzzle brake to deflect, diffuse, & reroute gasses into the reflex chamber (floating over the barrel) which dramatically reduces the peak pressures achieved within the blast chamber. The decision has already been appealed twice to no avail. Despite having already approved of the design years ago, and having sold thousands of units, the ATF under the Biden admin decided to target AB as well as many other small businesses for arbitrary and capricious persecution. At this point, the ATF is essentially pulling a Darth Vader.. - “I am altering the deal, pray I don’t alter it any further..”

@@ABsuppressor There is no way the reflex can be classified as a suppressor. If you shot a gun with just the reflex it would make it louder. The reflex is no different than an end cap. What's next, banning the 1/2x28 thread pattern?

@@TT-ch2pz see the problem here is you’re trying to apply logic to the federal govt., which is decidedly illogical & corrupt in its decision making processes. The unfortunate reality of the situation is; They make the rules, and obedience is hardly optional. You can choose to not follow them, and they will simply pull your FFL/SOT, shut down your business and/or fine & imprison you into compliance 🤷🏻‍♂️

CGS doesn't offer a reflex for the Hyperion. Had they, we'd have been obliged to include it. We ARE tilting the measurements in our favor with reflexes. The overall length stays the same and the weight is within a couple ounces in the heaviest configuration used in the .308 testing. Additionally, we did testing with a flush mount and included it in this video.
