This song and ship in a bottle need to be in a modern pirate movie as a soundtrack but with the actors singing. These songs would be great in a movie musical.

Omg plot idea for this: A simple tavern bartender is looking towards the sea, they have heard things both good and bad (mostly bad) about pirates but have always wondered what it would be like to sail the seas as a member of a pirate’s crew. Their attention is suddenly drawn to a new patron of the tavern. He looks like no other person they’ve seen before, but his appearance is nothing short of what they heard a pirate captain would look like, he offers for them to join their crew for a price, they accept almost immediately, their passion for the sea driving their decisions. But once a few nights of being on the ship as the cabin crew, they notice that there is something off about the ship and it’s crew. They all seem to be more alive at night, but not in the way they would expect, they then come to realise that the crew are sea monsters!

Family doesn't have to be blood. Found family can be, and often is, better. Find those who love and support you for who you are.

“Blood is thicker than water” the full phrase is “the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb”

Anyone ever read The Mermaid, the Witch and the Sea by Maggie Tokuda-Hall? This song fits it so well and I ADORE the combo!
