"Those who refuse to give anything up cannot achieve anything in this world." Throughout the series, it's not enough that everyone gives their all in a fight-- they also have to sacrifice. Erwin has to sacrifice his troops to achieve victory, the Warriors have to sacrifice their past allegiance with Eldia to complete their mission, and Eren has to sacrifice his mercy to gain freedom. Like in chess-- you have to sacrifice your pawns, bishops, knights, and other pieces in order to get a chance at striking the king-- you'll never win a match without losing anything. Whether it's your limb, your life, or your humanity-- something's gotta go for you to fight.

I truly believe that in order to get something and become someone you have to be ready to sacrifice yourself by letting go of what stops you. Like Eren as you said correctly. @@kitten9208 That is because of two mistakes. The great karl fritz retreated. He didn't elect a small rumbling to demonstrate what would happen, only threatened it. He also placed his people on a land rich in fossil fuels, which Marley desires most. That is why this is happening. Had these two things not occurred/been discovered there might have been hope for the world yet they decided to listen to one selfish country and shall be destroyed for it.

It's called the Law of Equivalent Exchange: Gaining or, sometimes, so much as attempting to gain something or someone requires sacrificing something *OR* someone equal in value. This series is a GREAT example of the Law of Equivalent Exchange, maybe even better than Fullmetal Alchemist: Many folks die or risk their lives in exchange for the *POSSIBILITY* of freedom although each person defines "freedom" differently.

To be able to make music so good that it adds a feeling of intensity while watching everything play out as the story thickens is pretty remarkable. I honestly think “Attack on Titan” is thee best anime ever made. The action, plot, music, & explanation was put together PERFECTLY‼️ it will be hard to create something that tops this

This storyline has really come to such a fascinating crossroad. Their efforts to attain the sort of freedom that would allow them to break free from the walls they were caged by is met with a devastating realisation. The realisation that there is no place on earth that they can truly be free no matter what walls they tear down as in humanity’s eyes they are the enemy. I don’t blame Eren for abandoning his sense of humanity in the face of this. :/

The reason i stayed in AoT for too long is because of the season 1 that angered Eren to the core when he saw his mom die. Now that i get to witness him exercising his rage at the final season, i thought that he went mad and it's not all about his mom and titans.. but no, he just followed the pattern, played the role of a villain, to free the future.
