Yes, I thought that right off. He looks just like his new mommy. Our LORD delivered them this special little bundle of joy.

We adopted our daughter that's 4 now, we got her when she was two. She looks just like my bio daughter. People think she is hers. I always say God made her for us right down to her looking like us.

When you adopt babies they take the behavior of their adopted parents and they actually start to look like their adopted parents, bless them for adopting him

Before I was like you but because I am older and adopted. I realized I can not judge and can't agree for the abandon of a child. The mum felt miserable , stress sad and panicking perhaps. The good thing she did not kill him . And the baby find a lovely family. We can't judge because we don't know and even we know it s beyond us and god have a plans for ervery one of us

@@iii..... I don't think people are judging. I don't really see anyone in this thread saying anything about the person. There are no ill wishes or calling someone a name. It's just a simple, "How can someone do that?" I think that more talk has to happen about safe haven laws. I think that every new mother should be given information about safe haven laws. I know that many women would feel insulted by this, but you have to look at it as it might save one baby. Maybe it should be part of sex education. I think people who abandon babies don't have ill will. I think they abandon in hopes that someone will find the baby to rescue him or her. This isn't like those stories you hear about babies being thrown in the trash. Abandoned vehicles are eventually checked out, so she could have thought that someone would investigate the truck soon. Shoot, it could have been a truck she spotted and she thought the truck's owner would investigate (and it's totally possible that a man could have abandoned the baby; I don't know). But, if we could make people more aware of these laws, that would help. I understand that the police station or hospital may be a bit scary for some mothers to go to, but the fire stations do this too. I think most people don't find fire stations as intimidating. And they tend to be easier to find since there are usually a lot of them in a city/town.

Lets just focus on his new life and wonderful family. We don't know why or how anyone can abandon a baby so best not to point fingers. Maybe the mother is homeless, raped, under age?
