Living in North Carolina, it's rare to see vacant/abandoned Bojangles since it's so popular here. That Mt. Airy location looks like an older one.

I’ve been to Bojangles once. It’s a great restaurant, I’ve read where Bojangles is coming to Columbus.

There's an abandoned Shoney's in Fayetteville, It is right next to a Big Lots, and an abandoned Kmart is also close to there.

The building is still in good shape.

This one wasn't open for long, im from NC and moved to northern WV in 2014 and we would drive to the one in Princeton, WV because it was the closest one. I guess WV doesn't appreciate some of the best food ever!

Much to your displeasure, BoJangles went into an expansion where 1 franchisee owned alll of the Bojangles except Bluefield wv. there was 2 Bojangles in Huntington, 1 in Cross Lanes, 1 at Corridor G, the last one in Kanawha City. The franchisee "let go"of all of the above mentioned restauramts and all closed abruptly.

Sorry for you loss... of this Bojangles. Like the fact that they put glass block windows in for the kitchen staff. Thanks for sharing!

Thier are several Bojangles locations near me and one of them has the exact same interior and exterior design as this one.

I live in WV and several bojangles opened only to soon close. I heard that these were franchised and there was an issue with the franchisee and that is why they closed

The dirty rice at Bojangle's is awesome. I heard recently that Popeye'e dropped their cajun rice from the menu. The Bojangle's rice is much better IMO.

Bojangles has closed many locations on I64 in Kentucky. But have announce 45 new locations in Ky, SC, NC, TN, and Ga and with 15 new locations in Ohio. Also one new one coming to PA and WV with new state of NY and TX being added some also.

The Cajun Chicken Biscuit combo is amazing, I usually can't decide between the Fries or the Bo-Rounds. But great food all around.

Come to Southeastern Michigan. Abandoned Sears galore. One in Lincoln Park, MI and Taylor, MI.

Sadly all the Bojangles seem to have closed in WV except for Princeton the last I checked. Sad to see all these restaurants close after such a short time. Sadly they just didn't do that great of business. I know quite a few of them have been converted into different places. Ones in Huntington and Beckley were converted into Sonic. Also I think one in Charleston was converted to Cookout and another in Huntington was converted into a car wash strangely. Either way, the expansion apparently flopped. Although I have not seen the Sonic in Beckley not doing great business either. Not sure if people just don't care about Sonic or if the location is just cursed or something. It is further than the other fast food places from the interstate. The Bojangles in Fayetteville though was hard to miss going along 19.

Bojangles made a huge effort to open brand new restaurants a few years ago here in West Virginia. They spent a pretty being chunk of change to build and furnish all these facilities. Then a year later they closed them all. A few have been repurposed into Cook Out brand burger restaurants. To be honest, the Bojangles weren't very good, at least where I live. Overpriced. Sub-par food. The 30 year old KFC was better than many of these places, as far as chicken goes. Why and how Bojangles took such a huge loss on these restaurants is beyond me.

Damn thats wild Ive never seen an abandoned Bojangles and this stripped down....that towns tastebuds must be off for them not to keep it in business lol. Luckily I live in the only part of my state with them :)

They opened this bojangles closed it, then the owner opened one in beckley. Closed it again in beckley.

So Bojangles went public several years ago.to please the stock holders they started throwing up stores left and right.it didnt matter if it made since to open in that certain area or not, just open one. Low sales made them rethink so they closed low performing stores.the company was sold a couple of years ago and they went back to being private.now they are more stable and are growing again the right way.
