Bombay Beach is one of the best Abandoned towns in California, and also one of the strangest. The Town is now home to Weird Art Installations in the California Desert. Definitely a unique places for some Southern California URBEX

The only problem I have with this video and others like it about Bombay Beach is that people who don't know the town keep referring to it as abandoned or a ghost town. It is not! It has never been a ghost town. No, there aren't many people who live there but they do live there. A truly abandoned ghost town has NO permanent residents which Bombay Beach has always had.

I was there Feb. 2021, it is nowhere near a ghost town or abandoned. It’s a beautiful spot to hang out,and have a good time, lots of people enjoying themselves for the weekend.

This guy is only showing a small part of the town. Most of Bombay Beach is far from abandoned.

I used to live here! It’s pretty trailer! Not a lot of good things happen here! People do live there! They have stopped every mobile. Sad

7:07 Art installation ? A boat people have built up?? Thats a boat that was set on fire by vandals, or what remains of it. nothing to do with art

Yeah, I saw the boat last time. Around the ashes, someone had built up a new metal frame, looks like they were trying to do something and then gave up. That old boat was super cool. Shame when people are just set out to destroy.
