This 1965 Chevrolet C10 has been off the road since 1989, and been stripped down quite a bit. And of course, I bought it without seeing it. Let's see if I can get it running in one night and do something with it. Oh, and skeeters.

Thanks Derek. Love the channel. I also admire your discipline of never cursing. One of the first things I noticed. i’ve just been watching a bunch of vgg videos this whole semester of college. i thank you derek for bringing me some laughter, entertainment, and also just teaching me some stuff. a few things to say, one: you definitely have helped me through some hard times, two: i love how supportive you and jess are of each other, with videos from 3 years ago like this one, she is still there with your sons and holding the camera for you and supporting you. y’all have something really really special! three: i am really glad your channel has grown as much as it has since i watched your k5 blazer video way back when, you are a genuine guy and you have impacted many with this simple videos, so again thank you! lastly: i have always had the dream of having a small collection of old cars and trucks, and you have shown me that it is really possible. i now have got it in my mind that a k5 blazer is my dream truck now. i’ve been searching for one forever and an opportunity is on my doorstep, there is one in oklahoma which is 15 hours from me, at a decent price, but the distance is the main killer so i can’t really check it out before buying it. it’ll probably sell because of the price, and because whoever can get there first with cash in hand gets it of course. but one can hope! again thanks derek, i wish nothing but the best for you and your family!

The will it drive after many years of sitting up. The answering yourself when you ask and it looks good when it definitely doesn’t is just like me. We are two peas in a pod but I’m from GA

I miss not driving the old girl.
