Walk around the "Liverpool Ghost Ship" The ship which has been rotting away for years in North Liverpool Docks
Originally called Alte Liebe
formerly known as the Orestad, habicht 2, Baltica 1 and Baltica
Now called Endeavour
The former German harbour ferry was built in 1959 and was in service until 1995. It was originally brought to Liverpool for an unsuccessful business venture and ended up rusting in the docks.
After refurbishment work was complete, it was hoped to turn the vessel into a 450 passenger day cruise-ferry and static venue, operated by the Liverpool & North Wales Steamship Company with services running between Liverpool, Llandudno and Anglesey.
Video shows a look around the main parts of the vessel, on board, in the dining area, kitchen, sleeping quarters, engine room, bridge etc, even the mini hospital in it.

Quite surprised internally the ship seems to be in fairly good condition!

Does anyone know if the people are still working on the project on this vessel?? Because I have rang up to Liverpool docks if they know what's is going on with the vessel? Are they said is the vessel has been refloated save and they have not heard anything at all about the vessel what is going on with the projects???? As well it sounds like you've tried to contact to the project people I have heard nothing at all as well!!!!! But I noticed the pages for the project has disappeared on Facebook and other sites????????

Yeah i noticed that the FB pages have been taken down. I dont' know whats happening with the project anymore. I did hear there was issues with the financial side of the project a while ago.

@@JamesOhanlon A guy called Steve Payne ran the project, he has abandoned it as far as i am aware and now in Ireland running the thames tug Swiftstone

August 2021 she was semi sunk and full of old tyres. Now she is still in Liverpool docks tied up on West Huskey. Other than that I can't help. Things like this are brilliant projects but unfortunately very costly projects. On top of repairs Peel Ports would be charging for the berth aswell. Very deep pockets needed

I haven't heard a thing about the project. Last i heard it had partially sunk under unusual circumstances. I only went to document the vessel , i wasn't part of the team, so to speak

Not officially, you have to go through a security entrance at the dock

@@EXPLORINGWITHMEDAVE I was there officially with a group of people who were planning to convert it, and re use it. I don't think they'd allow anyone in otherwise
