If it was a feeling of open handed patting on your shoulder, then I would interpret that to mean 'thank you'. If it was more a feeling of a finger poking your shoulder, I'd interpret that to mean "who are you and why are you mowing my yard'? Sam, you did a good job.

I hate seeing homes abandoned! It was once filled with growing families and I pray loving memories! You gave it some respect back!

I agree with another commenter. The tapping was probably letting you know they are there and glad you’re helping out. If it was something bad, you would probably get a feeling of “get out.” You showed respect for the home and property and I think that goes a long way.

You did a really nice job! It really brightened things up as well as opening it up to be seen better! The homeowner was sitting in the chair when you peeked in to see the inside. He was really glad that you came to help him out with cleaning up the yard. He was feeling frustrated and thinking as to how he could get the place looking better since he didn’t have a body anymore to do the work. He would like the place cleaned up, rebuilt and sold to somebody who would appreciate the place. He wanted me to share that with you.

I felt a tapping a couple of times during my life. And when my cousin in law mows the cemetery which his father in law did before him, he feels his deceased father in law, my uncle watching him. Critiquing his mowing 😀

I have heard of several people feeling a tapping on their shoulders and heads while sensing a spiritual contact. I doubt it was anything bad, you were doing a good thing. It was most likely a hello and thank you someone just letting you know they are there. I wouldn't go back looking to have another encounter, that could bring about one of a different sort. If you still feel freaked out, just pray and burn some sage.

I’d say that it has been more like 10 or more years, since that house was abandoned. lots of weathering on the siding for only 3-5 years. It looked much better with the mowing, but still very lonely and lost!

The person tapping on your shoulder was a woman with long blonde (almost white) hair. Spirits and Souls are always around us. I think someone was standing at the front door but I only saw a quick vision.. Not sure if male or female. Wonderful that you were able to tune in and notice this. You have a loving aura around you which makes it easy for spirits to communicate with you.

I’ve experienced the same thing at work, but on my right shoulder. I would always think of my late father. But I noticed I feel a similar sensation on the shoulder when I move my arm a certain way. I think it could be muscles contracting / retracting.

For the right owner this property looks like it has potential. Room for children chicken coop and an orchard plus a vegetable garden
