Today i explore an abandoned house lost in the mountains for decades, this abandoned house is the definition of a Prewar time capsule and has been left completely frozen in time for a number of decades in the mountains, This hidden gem of an abandoned house sits untouched in the welsh countryside with the beds still made, dinner table still set and vintage furniture dating back to over a hundred years. As this beautiful abandoned house is slowly decaying and being taken back by nature this could be the last chance to see how the family that once lived here lived. join me as i explore this abandoned house left completely frozen in time for nearly 60 years and see what remains inside.
if you enjoy exploring abandoned places then stick around as i upload weekly

Did you notice the smash in the door glass was the perfect shape of a ghost? Nice touch with the pop ups saying what things are and how old they are.

Interesting but I don’t think ghosts smash doors as they can walk through them It’s sad to see it left like that, with some of the families things still there - like a little time capsule

The Victorian Memento Mori pictures would be worth a small fortune in good condition. It's actually a dreadful shame that those two pieces were left to rot. The larger one could be worth up to over a thousand Euros in restored condition.

The small white plastic canisters mounted on the inside of the kitchen cabinet door are for spices plus salt and pepper. Back in the 60's, people filled these matching items with salt, pepper, and a few other spices they frequently used, like cinnamon, nutmeg powder, etc. The very low doorways were from the days before air conditioning. In country homes of people who were not wealthy enough to afford unlimited heating bills, the rooms had high ceilings and very low doorways to trap the heat inside the room in the winter. In the summer, the high ceilings allowed the heat to rise, thus keeping the room cooler. The home I grew up in the US had this feature in a couple of the rooms. My father who was 6'1" had to stoop over to enter these rooms. Cool explore. Thank you.

Lived in Wales and the damp is really, really quick at invading everything and turning stuff mouldy in a few months. So it's no wonder its in the state it is. But what a iron stove that was - don't see many with a tap, the Victorian funerary art was amazing and never seen the likes. Quality street tins always make me smile - they seem to get everywhere and last well! Really appreciated the on-screen info on the items and names and dates of people long gone. Thank you for finding a well made and quite well proportioned Welsh farmhouse.

That is such a sweet place. I had a feeling you weren't alone. I got the vibe that a couple had lived there, he passed away before her, and she lived alone, and aging, until shortly after 2009 when she left this plane. I don't feel like they had children. People, as they age, tend to get comfortable with outdated decor, and due to their aging, aren't able to perform renovations like they could when they were younger. Thank You for this experience, Adam. 😊

Missed you last week. I totally loved this one. I think the coloured pic of the girl with long auburn hair is from the Pre Renaissance style of painting. The big chain on the fireplace was to hold a big heavy pot that could be swung over the fire then swung back. I totally heard that first noise behind you. When you were touched it reminded me when staying in a friends old flat the room turned icy cold and I knew I was not alone. Terrified I could not move under the duvet. Then something/one put their hand on my shoulder, I nearly passed out with fear. Turned out my friend had to move as the haunting was so bad. That’s why I believe.
