I seen this skoda fabia vrs 2 years ago and left a note eventually the owner reached out and sold it to me for £250 in its unknown state it hadnt been used for 4 years.
luckily it seems in pretty good nick and started with a new battery, fuel filter etc the plan is to put this back on the road with some mods

Good to see another fabia back on the road, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with it! Got rid of mine a couple months ago for a golf and I do kinda miss it haha

Im pretty excited only ever really had Japanese stuff! Had a 1.9 straight golf which was disgusting to drive lol

@@chris_purves You'll love it, had mine 3 years and 8 months and it never let me down! The sluggishness you were talking about could be a boost leak as it's a common problem with the fabia's but it could be something else, just from my own experience.

Had one of these for a good few years! Great fun, if you make it faster, Audi TT brakes from the same era fit straight on with bigger Octavia wheels!

107k im sure, pretty good considering its sat parked up! Hopefully get back on with it soon. Have a watch of episode two with a good clean and some wheels looks way better

My old pd100 fabia is probably sitting parked up somewhere in Scotland like this one as its been on sorn for over a year and would love to find it

@@chris_purves last time I checked online it hadn't. Don't know if you can scrap a sorn car, not to clued up on how it works. Was mint and past its last mot with no advisories before being put off the road

@@Lewis_Treff97 Ye unfortunately alot of cars are sorn then scrapped only gets declared if through a dvla approved breakers. Hopefully still on go then if it was that clean! Try reaching out on one of the Fabia vrs groups on Facebook? With reg etc

@@chris_purves did that in the past and someone ended up spotting it driving into McDonald's a couple hours from me back when it was being used 2-3 years ago

The brakes went soft after going through a puddle and the owner replaced it with another car shortly after! I offered £250 which he was happy with

Grtting on with sorting it out and on the road this weekend! Found some gremlins I.e a welded subrframe weirdly. Will put a video up tomorrow

@@chris_purves that’s crazy! Good deal! I’m on my second now, my first is on my channel around 190 bhp/ 420nm great cars. Rebuilt the whole thing pretty much 😄
