Join in with the Restored crew as they venture into the Northeast Texas woods to discover a highly abandoned and neglected 1957 Chevy Viking Truck. Upon arrival they determine that this piece of automotive history was parked over 50 years ago and hasn't moved since. With the team being determined to rescue this resting jewel from the overgrown trees, they decide to up the challenge by seeing if they're able to get it back up and running first. Follow along as they dig in and diagnose the issues and complications that await to get this forgotten piece of machinery alive again, all while having hopes of seeing it actually drive out of its own grave of over 50 years!

These are magnificent trucks! I grew up with a 59 2 ton that was a grain truck that was the same color as this one. It was always parked inside, only driven during harvest, and only had 19K miles on it when we sold it in 1991. Even the original upholstery was still pristine. I miss that truck.... Seeing this brings back fond memories of those beautiful trucks. I hope this one will get restored. Thanks for the wonderful content!

Very cool to see the old 57 1ton run again. Actually runs well which is hard to believe after parked for 50 years. Would be neat to see this old truck haul another vehicle out of the woods in the future. Great video, thanks.

@randallsmerna384
@randallsmerna384 Жыл бұрын
@@MrPaige222 First, considering the fact that no one living today is going to be here in 10,000 years, your question is fundamentally flawed. Second, I don't see Astute Nomad recommending giving up. Third, The whole premise of salvation is the hope of glory through faith. As Joshua said: "But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” May the hunger for truth burn in your heart, Paige.
