I miss the old Wendy's buildings! I remember when I was a kid Wendy's had tables that had tabletops that looked like old fashioned newspaper print. That was in the early 80s. Sure miss the character of the restaurant buildings...

Hi Wallie Great Video!! Seeing that Wendy's brought back memories of my childhood in the 70s and 80s when we had a Wendy's in Lockport NY that looked like that. Wendy's left Lockport for a bit and that store was torn down and replaced by a Dunkin Donuts which moved out and that building is now a Verizon store. Wendy's did cone back to Lockport eventually but the new Wendy's is a shoebox type modern store. Keep up the good work, Wallie!

Wendy's get me some Chicken nuggets with honey mustard I want but Abandoned Restaurant are Wendy's closed every place are so hard to find.

I've binged watched a lot of Hardcore Pawn too, so glad you've met those legends from that show though 🙂 As for this Wendy's, the back kitchen is very dusty but the dining area looks very tidy 🙂

This was the wendys I went to when I lived in Westland. Wife and I were upset when it closed.

Hardcore pawn was one of my favorite shows. I have an autographed photo of Seth, Ashley, and Les. TruTV sucks now. About 10 years ago truTV revamped their lineup and it has sucked ever since. Used to watch Hardcore Pawn, Lizard Lick Towing, South Beach Tow, Rehab Party at the Hard Rock. I loved all those shows lol.

I think someone used the fire extinguisher sitting on the counter in the ketchen, and that is not dust. Maybe there was a small fire, or possibly a disgruntled employee...

I met Les from hardcore pawn years ago in Reading, PA at a pawn shop. He seems like a nice guy off screen.

Great video! I also love old places that has character. What’s sad is my local Arby’s is still open and the building is in worse shape than that( they are renovating it to a shoebox) what do you think of Wendy’s? I have not been to one in years and last time they were not that great.

I love the vintage fast food restaurant designs as well. Also I am thrilled to see that there isn’t any graffiti on it seeing it’s been closed for so long.

Looks old probably built 1985, 40 yrs old I'd say.

Outdated and thats the way they should have kept them just like that im sooo pissed what Wendy's did to there places it sucks we have 2 around me and what they did to the newest one we had is just pittyfull..no more booths they put all hard azz chairs in that hurts ur rear whenever you sit down to eat how can you enjoy eatting on a wooden board i hate it so bad i miss my nice comfy booth i used to go sit in now i dont have nothing to sit in but a stiff board....i will never never so sit in one of our Wendy's again till they go back to the way it was...
