If he's not guilty he should clear his name. He and bato once said that they will face and cooperate with the investigation as long as it's done in our country. Why sudden change of heart? This only shows that we need to pursue the ICC trial because of their influence in our judicial system. They don't even respect and give importance to our congress how much more to our judicial court.

Ex president Duterte will cooperate only if the hearing is held at the court and not the House of Representatives.....

The law doesn't work that way.. they should not be clearing their names, the prosecutor should prove their guilt in the courts of law. Influence on the judicial system? FPRRD is no longer in position.

@@sonyvergelbaes6811 how can the case prosper if they don't cooperate with the investigation. This is the right and opportune time to clear their names. Unless otherwise they don't want the people to know the truth.

@@nestorpo6818 they don't need to. that's what we call presumption of innocence. The house hearing is in aid of legislation. It's not the venue to clear someone's name nor prove someone's guilt.

@@sonyvergelbaes6811 I completely understand your point but isn't it a sign of guilt by avoiding the congress hearing. They should show their willingness to submit to any legislative court to prove their innocence. Assessing from their statement they pass the burden to the policemen and as if they are not part of the drug war. Nasaan na ang pangako na sagot ko kayo, harapin ko kahit saang korte basta dito lang sa bansa natin. The people wants to know if they are man enough to face the full responsibility of the drug war which they design and give the order to implement this.
