5 TIPS and TRICKS with your Mercedes Key

A Mercedes Benz key does more than just simply locking and unlocking your car!
In this video we take a look at 5 Tips and Tricks you can do with your Mercedes Key.
This video features the C43 AMG which is one of the AMG performance versions of the Mercedes C Class. My car is the 2019 C43 AMG Saloon or the C43 AMG Sedan for those across the pound :)
The C43 gives you that great AMG sound from the AMG performance and also the luxury of a Mercedes Benz
This is the W205 Class. The 2019 C43 AMG

@@martf8014 Thanks Mart. Funnily enough I don't even use aftereffects. The majority of my transitions etc are all shot in camera and I lightly edit it together in post :)

When using the skeleton key to gain entrance to the car The hole under the handle is used to remove the plastic cover which then reveals a normal lock.

Good vid. I’ve just bought my 5th C Class and the salesman at the dealership didn’t even know about tip 1. Unbelievable. He was amazed when I told him. This should be the first thing they tell you with all the relay thefts that happen nowadays. With my spare key I just take the battery out of it....

Okay Im impressed. I own a stage 1 (w204) C200 cgi, and I thought to unlock all doors you always had to press twice! The thing worked. Unfortunately the windows dont come down by themselves but at least I learned something new. Thank you!

Very informative and Big Thanks for the tips. They should share these tips at the Dealership! I taught myself to let the windows down by accident last shmmer. I just hate that I have to be so close to let the windows down. Usually Blieu is in the garage home but when I’m out shopping 🛍 walking back, Omgoodness it HOT here in New Orleans! I’d like to be able bring them down before I get in to let the heat out. Thanks again! 👍🏽 & ✅

No problem David, Just a heads up the key removes the door handle surround then you access the key slot. Also check out my othet videos to show how to start the engine using a dead keyfob :)

I just subscribed to this channel. It is very well done. I will not repeat the obvious in the comments below. What I really like is that you can forward or reverse using the slider on the time bar at the bottom of the screen. It has a description of what the gentleman on the video is saying. Thanks for the tips! Also, I discovered that I can lower all the windows using the driver's side door handle. When you unlock the car without using the key (approaching with the key in your pocket), just keep your hand on the handle and pull without opening the door. -Maybe you can do a vlog about it?

@@ABAUTOAMG Thank you for your note. I am flattered that you noticed my comment. I owed a 2010 GLK350 4MATIC, replaced by a 2015. This week I am buying a used 2014 GLK250-Diesel. In the garage I keep a 2007 CLK350 Cabrio with only 60K miles, it is fun in the summer. Used to have also a 2012- C300 class and 2014-E350 class, but sedan is not my style. Best Regards, Julio

I loved the video so much, so many helpful tips. I tried the first tip where you deactivated the key and reset it by unlocking as you say in some of the other comments, however, I cant seem to get the Keyless go working again

Thanks Brandon! That's odd with the keyless it should reset and activate once you press the unlock key and lock as normal. Did you manage to fix it?

The key does have an integrated gyroscope. It will automatically disable the keyless functionality while it is not moving anymore. This also safes some battery :)

Heh not a gyroscope, acceleration sensor. A gyroscope is only needed to measure the angle...
