In this video I take you through a full walkthrough of the interior in my 2019 Mercedes C43 AMG.

This video features the C43 AMG which is one of the AMG performance versions of the Mercedes C Class. My car is the 2019 C43 AMG Saloon or the C43 AMG Sedan for those across the pond :)

I've noticed that pre 2019 the seatbelts are not adjustable, that's another big difference

Do you think moving from c43 to CLA45s is an upgrade or downgrade? I’m having this struggle in my head right now since I love the CLA45 too, the baby GT appearance is so nice. I do love those new packages in 2022 model. However, in Canada there is no S model, only the regular CLA45. And considering the materials used in these cars, C class beats CLA no doubt. Also I don’t think the sound of 4 cylinders will be as good as V6. These factors really keep me away from ordering one. But at the same time, my c43 had already lost so many values because of depreciation. I’m now thinking about either ordering a CLA45 and doing some modifications on it or keeping my C43. What’s your opinion?

Hi Ricer, Have you tried driving the new CLA45? It's in a completely different league to the older model. I was not planning on buying one but I tested one because I loved the mini GT look. Then when I drove it I fell in love the new engine is absolutely incredible to drive. It does not sound as good and it's a 4 cylinder but wow it's such a beast to drive. It's so rapid and loves to rev. The driving dynamics on the 45 are really good too, love the handing and the rear Dif. In my opinion the CLA45s that I've bought is a huge upgrade over the C43. That being said though the C43 is amazing and I am going to miss it but I won't lie the C43 felt a bit sluggish and I really missed the CLA45s when I took my C43 back.

I had the same dilemma and opted with the c43. I live in Canada as well and ultimately, a smaller car felt like a downgrade. The image I couldn’t get out of my head was sitting in a CLA 45 with 2 passengers and winter jackets. It would feel so cramped, and that’s not a feeling I want in a new car. Hoping the new c-class is just as beastly!

Got a c class 200d AMG line myself, not quite as sporty on the inside etc but a car I’m absolutely loving. Gutted to get my first ding on the front bumper a couple of weeks back but glad it’s only cosmetic. The car is absolutely fantastic on the inside. I don’t have the digital dash and it looks mad cool, but I did upgrade the small standard screen to the Android screen and it gives the interior a little boost as well as bring me the car play features. Not perfect with audio all the time but gives me all the tools etc that I was missing. (On that subject, any ideas from yourself or fan base on stopping the screen bracket creaking?) Anyway, totally agree, an awesome place to drive and it always feels welcoming.

Hello mate, your car stills sounds brilliant! Sorry to hear you had a ding but sounds like an easier one to repair! Do you have any sunglasses in the compartment above the center console? I had a creek for weeks then I realised it was my sunglasses moving around in there! Other than that I diden't run into many interior creeks if I did they went away on there own.

@@ABAUTOAMG a good idea for sure, but yes, I have indeed come across this one before and tried it without the sunglasses in that overhead hidyhole. It seems to be from the main centre console area around the screen but I can’t seem to narrow down its exact location in able to find a solution to the issue. An odd one for sure. Thanks man, the car is definitely awesome and really enjoying it. The minor damage left is the front grille which is now got a small hole punched through and the front bumper is slightly misshapen. Got a quote for the part required from Mercedes and was plesently surprised so it’s good to know it’s all fixable.

The menu button doesn’t do anything besides show me the air flow, what does yours do??

It's odd they choose to call it the menu button since it only really brings up the air flow, temps etc. I think its designed so you can see all the information/current settings quicky. The real menu buttons are by the touchpad/wheel.

I have a c220 coupe amg but mine does not have amg printed on the tray cover thing where the wireless/cup holders live. Should all AMG’s have that? Mine is supposed to be amg but it doesn’t have the amg print

Hi Miss Hanna, AMG are the Mercedes performance models. The C220 is a standard Mercedes but you can get it in a trim called "AMG line" which sounds like you have. AMG line just means it has some AMG trim parts, its a higher spec of the normal cars to make them feel a bit more sporty looking. The full AMGs are very different to the AMG line trim models.

At around 12:33 in your video it has a C icon near what gear you are in. What does that mean?

Hi Steven, The C stands for comfort mode. It has the letter of the current drive mode next to the gears.
