This is one of my favorite ABBA songs. So heartfelt and the turmoil between your love and needing to let go as friends than continue of disappointment, ill will and become enemies especially if there are children involved. Both couples eventually divorced, and last I saw three of the four were able to be on stage together. The fourth member I heard wanted to be out of the spot light and I am sure she is in a good way with the other three.

... this great song was almost like a foreshadowing of what was to come a few years later for both couples.

This is great on so many levels, the music, lyrics, performance, recording and production, everything is top notch, even the video is great even though its pretty simple. I absolutely love Agneta and Anni-Frids voices/singing and i remember these songs from growing up here in Sweden in the 70´s.

ABBAsolutely my number one all time favourite song from them. An ABBA fan for 49 years and will never tire from them. There were no marital issues between them here at this stage. A young Lasse Hallström directed most of Abba's video's. He went on to do movies in both Sweden and Hollywood. Like "Whats eating Gilbert Grape", "Ciderhouse rules" and "Chocolat" to name some.

It's interesting to see someone British reacting to ABBA giving the impression of not knowing what to expect (I could be wrong) considering ABBA are virtually part of British Culture and have been for over 50yrs. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone young or old in The UK who doesn't know ABBA or any of their songs.

Just to give you a bit of back story. At this point in their career, the two couples are still together. They just decided to write a very moving break-up song that maybe had some bad omens of their future divorces. Björn (lyrics/guitar) is married to Agnetha (soprano/blonde) and Benny (music/piano) is engaged (but at this point not married to) Frida (mezzo/redhead).

I was aware of abba before this track 🧐 but this is when I woke up to how brilliant they were, and fell in love with them ❤ Then I got to see ABBA live in concert at Wembley Arena in London in November 1979⚡✨⚡one of the best Concerts ever, so different from what you see in their pro-mo videos. 🇬🇧😲👍

Frida sings: "Good times, Bad times". So, since it has not all been bad and they obviously have had very good times also, it was probably not easy at all to take the break-up decision.
