Really nice on acoustic guitars and vocal. Makes it cleaner and more defined, rather than dirty.

Great overview. It drastically changed the tonality of the instruments. The acoustic gtrs were pretty harsh though. The saturator added a great harmonic character to it, but it was a bit bright is all. At 50-70% it was really good but at 100% it was very harsh to me. I'm just being nitpicky, well done.

I have all the Waves Abbey Road stuff and I love it...although I might be a bit sentimental about it. The only thing missing (I might buy it this month on sale) is the Abbey Road Brilliance Pack by Softube which is great too. Regarding Saturators there are two which I'm thinking about, the PA Black Box Analog Design and the Soundtoys Decapitator, both of them seem to be nice.

Great video. I record vocals through my Apollo Twin with a little LA2A. I could use this to add more compression before going into the TG12345? Then the TG12345 would not have to work so hard on the vocal? Thanks again for these videos!

Hi Dave. Great video. I own this plugin along with Lindell 80 buss & others. Would you use the Abby Road Saturator as a main buss plugin say over a Waves NLS non linear, Lindell 80 Buss & could this plugin replace the ones I mentioned?

This is a completely different plugin than the NLS.

I'm confused about something. If I were to run this into the tg12345 plugin with the saturator section turned on and the compressor section of the tg12345 turned on, would that be essentially doing the same thing twice? Or is the saturation section of the abbey saturator a totally different thing?

Its different.....yes a bit similar but different. You can demo both and try that experiment.

Yes, the NLS is designed to go on all your channels where as the Saturator is more used on the busses and ,aster out

@@HomeRecordingMadeEasy thx for the answer. well if you click down to insert the plug in on your channel you have to click on the button to show up the list with plug ins and usually there you find shortcut names that often differ from the original or whole name. so is or how is the abbelton short cutted there?

@@gonebymidnight2881 Wow that's cool, I see decapitator a lot and being a newbie don't really know what all this does in depth, I got Abbey road on offer as I though it would be a good LoFi buy and it gets bad reviews here and there but also some people absolutely love it, good to hear.....
