"Dance Moms" follows Abby Lee Miller and the nation's favorite tween dancers as they take on Hollywood while new auditions, new competitions, and new studios raise the stakes.
The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

Holly is completely right. Every time the rules would be set, Abby would change them because she didn’t like the outcome. If you didn’t want Nia to get a solo at nationals but you wanted Kalani to, why not just give it to Kalani and not have a whole competition on it. So annoying.

And Abby is racist. She admitted her ignorance, said she apologised for her behaviour and how it impacted the girls ie. Nia/Cameron and others watching the show. She said she hoped to change and be a better person etc.. Cameron's mother said she doesn't accept the apology though because she had never apologised to her or her daughter personally. So just that behaviour/ignorant thinking alone.. Nia was overlooked from day 1. Let's not add in all of the additional negative treatment on top of that. Personally, I feel Nia has incredible strength, self respect and talent to deal with her treatment. I really admire her ability at as a young girl to young woman to mentally handle it all. She stood her ground with class, style and talent. Crazy respect for Nia!

Nia was hands down the STRONGEST person on dance moms! She’s never give up, despite constantly being put down and not given opportunities she gets on with it and continues to dance without a single complaint. @ang4588

… Maddie was scripted a bunch in the early seasons. and even highly edited out of context. like the editors trying to make it seem like her and Brooke didn’t also get Joffrey scholarships, when they did, and she was freaking out over something unrelated.. or her supposedly “being sad” she wasn’t the lead of the set-up Lux vid, when all the moms & girls were aware it was between Chloe & Paige cause of their looks (they even edited Chloe’s confessional to say Maddie instead of Paige lol). Maddie was hugely supportive and kind, and wanted to see her friends receive praise and opportunities. Nia has even said she was/is the closest with Maddie. when Abby told Kendall she was nipping at Maddie’s heels and Maddie looked really exited for her, or her trying to give Chloe’s trophy back to her after the You Can/Be Anything debacle. she would look mostly genuinely fine with getting second/not winning. the only time she was “bothered” was when Jill kept prodding her. 💀 she high-fived Paige first when she won with Make Some Noise, or would side-hug some of the other girls and clearly say something complimentary. and honestly, none of them liked losing. they all always looked a bit let down, which is like… very normal and not “bratty”.

Nia deserved that win so freaking bad. Kalani, Maddie and Chloe have had so many wins, and Nia has barely any breaks my heart. I love Nia. The way all the girls clapped for Nia when she was announced a solo was so wholesome

I hate the fact that Abby wants Nia to lose, but when she does Nia wins Abby doesn’t care. She really wants this girl to fail just so she can yell at her mom

If Christi and Kelly was in Season 5, they would stick up for Nia, that’s why Holly, Christi and Kelly is my favorite moms. Jessalyn, Jill, Melissa and Kira is Holly’s best friend but she is silent when Abby fights with Holly. Those 4 moms are cowards. Nia deserves more

"She won three times" YEA because you gave her like three solos 😂😂😂😂 you never gave her the opportunities to show how good she truly is. And how Nia doesn't cry is just mindblowing to me, she is so strong as such a young age all through the years. Poor kid ❤
