Recently, Viacom's Nickelodeon removes all of those Warner Bros. Cartoons in a few months earlier and Disney's ABC was still remained in the 1999-2000 Saturday morning lineup.

I remember reading somewhere that Warner Brothers brought the exclusive rights to the Looney Tunes catalog in 1999, but BBATS was in contract until fall 2000. This was also the only season that it was 30 minutes as opposed to 60 in previous years.

September 10, 1999. ABC’s very last Saturday Morning preview special. This is also the last season for The Bugs Bunny 🐰 and Tweety Show (the Bugs 🐜 Bunny Show,), after 40 years on national television 📺. Additionally, the last-year (1999-2000) for the hosting segments, gags and shorts (canceled due to low ratings).

Jordan Wright Yeah. Declining since the 1997-98 season, the first year without Family Matters and Step by Step (both series get canceled by ABC, moved and canceled again by CBS).

Jordan Wright Also, TGIF’s 10th season (1999-2000) featured many more changes: the hosting segments and skits were OFFICIALLY dropped. That season, TGIF just became a name only block.

And so this decade, century and millennium come to an end with cartoons to end it out on a high note like Mickey Mouse Works, Sabrina, Big Guy and Rusty, Digimon, Family Guy, Futurama, Batman Beyond, Detention, Dilbert, Ed Edd n Eddy, Courage, SpongeBob and Rocket Power or end it poorly like Rescue Heroes, Avengers, Spider-Man Unlimited, Woody Woodpecker, DragonTales, Monster Rancher, Mike Lu and Og, Mega Babies, Room 402 and Angela Anaconda!

Question: Why would Woody Woodpecker end the millennium on a bad note? I thought it was good, especially with Ren & Stimpy's Billy West as Woody and Batman's Mark Hamill as Buzz Buzzard.
