Cannabidiol or CBD, is a newer and increasingly popular way to treat everything from chronic pain to anxiety. Many people in the recovery are intrigued by its effectiveness and the fact that it does not have psychoactive properties. While many CBD products boast contents of 0% THC, regular CBD users are coming up positive for THC in employment drug screens. Our Clinical Manager, Eboni Fields, sits down with Sonu Wasu of ABC15 in Phoenix to discuss CBD and what people can do to stay safe and avoid failing drug screens. This is why they need to fix the drug test system! Things have changed, and we need to stop punishing hard workers for cannabis use of any kind but especially cbd!!

I think in regards to cannabis, things are slowly changing. Here in AZ, we've just passed recreational cannabis laws. @@gigarott No, not even. After time your brain gets foggy. If you're going for those positions you better be clean. I can smoke on the weekends, but I work from home and don't have to run a country or city

Shawn Melendez I just failed a drug test because I used CBD drops and vape. There is THC in all of these products. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

People definitely need to do their research before hand! I've been using cbd isolate everyday for 6 months now and have not failed any tests. I always buy from a reputable place such as a Dispensary in my case.

The real question is why our federal government allowed a product with THC be legalized in all 50 states but didn't tag the bill with stipulations that protects our jobs? I mean, what about government job? If they smoke, or better put, consume hemp and fail a drug test, will they be fired? Drug tests are looking for THC, not "hemp" and drug test don't know the difference. THC is THC regardless of where it is sourced from.

I use CBD isolate from Cannadips I had three dot drug test passed them all. Good labs and reputable brands are a must.

Unfortunately, yes it can! Researching the brand you use is very important and of course weighing the consequences if caught. CBD helps a lot of people though. - Susana

Hi Seth, unfortunately, I've seen instances where a product is branded as isolate, but still causes a positive test. Not sure what the answer is, perhaps at least some form of testing should be mandatory, just as we require those who manufacture medications to perform tests on their medicinal products. - Susana

@@AbtrsRehab I agree 100%. It is not FDA approved. However, the CBD isolate I use, I have tested myself repeatedly and have never failed a drug test. Purchase from a reputable company....no gas stations, lol

Some cbd flower looks coated with thc. So you know its on the flower because you can see it. That Delta 9 is some good smoke. It really is loaded and wrks wonders.

You can't get all of thc out of cbd. It's going to be in there.

Cbd actually doesn't contain thc at all lol. cbd and thc are two of the MANY totally different cannabinoids derived from Cannabis. Do some research!

@@chevyblazin1 no crap. But they have be to be separated. Most processes to separate the thc from cbd after extraction from the plant are not completely 100 percent. Do your research.

The f***** up part about testing for marijuana use is that you can ingest or take marijuana products on a weekend and still test positive at your job on Monday which is b******* because you're obviously not high while working.
